We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting
Go somewhere else

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

we were advised not to use the alleyway at night from the main road to the apartments due to some muggings. needs to be better secured.

As we were in the Old Town we made a point of travelling through to the Main Town every evening as that was where the entertainment could be found. Pubs were great - something for everyone.

Benidorm has something for everyone, you don't have to walk 100 yards before you hit a bar with something going on. It does get a bit annoying when you're approached by people outside bars trying to get you in with cards and leaflets and offering free drinks for the kids and shots. All the shots are apple flavoured and sickly and not any shot you wanted, this was more than made up for with the prices of most of the drinks which have got more expensive over the last few years here. We were her full board and still spent over £1000 in 2 weeks here between 2 adults and 3 children which was mainly on drinks. We did visit Terra Mitica twice though and Terra Natura which are both excellent and well worth a visit, only costing 1 euro on the number 21 bus.
The UK Cabaret Bar next to the Hotel Preidente was good and had some quality acts on but they were repeated throughout the week and when you've seen them a couple of times you need to think of somewhere else. John and Josephs was very cheap for food and drink but was full of Chavs and kids drinking at night.
The best place for currency was the daily market up near the hotel Poseidon and if you go to 'Sheilas' store for changing your money you get what you see and it is genuine good rates. Avoid the small kiosks and shops offering good rates as often you have to change to at least €3000 euros to get that rate.

This was our first time to Benidorm and I was expecting it to be like every other lively spanish resort.
It was in a way as in its very British (nothing really wrong with that) but I just did`nt fall for Benidorm, the huge tower blocks of hotels and apartments spoil a beautiful view, it felt so closed in. The old town was very nice, we really liked it there and wished we had stayed in that area.
The beaches are beautiful, especially the little cove between poniente and Levante. The resort is like any other in terms of cleanliness, there are good areas and bad, one thing that did really annoy me was the amount of dogs doings on the paths more so near to our Hotel on the yellow brick road, it seemed like the local doggy lav, loads of them up and down it every day pooping away. YUK
I did enjoy my holiday and I am glad I tried it but dont think I will return and I would not take my children with me, I wouldn't say its a childrens resort, definately not in July, not with advertisements for bars/clubs all over promoting live adult entertainment shows, I am not knocking anyone who enjoys this sort of thing, its just not my cup of tea.
I would however visit other areas of the Costa Blanca, we jumped on the bus and visited Vilajoyosa further along the coast and it was really nice.

Fantastic place. Ignore references to Blackpool. There's something for everyone. It can be cheap and there's plenty to do. We got a beer for 60p. We had to go and check out the Elvis impersonators as a fan and found Dave Keegan to be the best, very entertaining.
Levante is the place to stay for all the bars and clubs. No matter what sort of holiday you are after you'll find it in Benidorm. We will be going again for a short break next year.

This was our first time to Benidorm and we enjoyed it.
First impressions were the ugly aspect of all the high rise buildings, as it's different to what we're used to, but we really liked the prom and beach areas.
There is certainly something for everyone in this resort. Parts of it do look tired, and it can feel very congested, but the main areas looked very clean and well kept. I liked the fact there were lots of Spaniards there, not all Brits!
We will go back to this resort. Can't comment on any trips etc, as we only went for a week and were a bit limited due to Mum's disabilities.
