We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting
Go somewhere else

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

We took the kids to the local theme park, which was on a steep hill and although it was advertised to be open till 1.30am the rides shutdown at 10pm and the last bus was at 12 midnight. We paid 20 euros each at 8pm, so did not get much for our cash. There are plenty places to eat and bars were good. Great british grub in the pub across the road from our hotel.

Not many bars in the area but the few English ones that are were very friendly and helpful. Two beaches near hotel both very clean main one there is a steep hill to walk down to.

The cleanliness round the resort could have been better.
There was absolutely no entertainment except for the pool.
The beach was lovely I absolutely loved it.

The "Old Town" as it is called was tip top.
There are lots of shops, a family of 5 eat lunch at an avrage cost of just 15 euros, there is also a Burger King next to the beach.
The Beach is a 5 Min Walk away, The new town was a 45 min walk or 5 euros in a taxi (7 euros on a sunday), However we only went twice as on the 2nd time we had un desirables surroud us when i got out the camcorder on the beach at lunch time, the beach was also rocky yet in the old town there were NO ROCKS at all, excellent for swimming.
Also things (food, drinks and other items) were approx 25% more expencive in the new town.
All in all Benidorms old town gets 8 out of 10 from us, New town, 6 out of 10.

The beach is fantastic. So shallow the kiddies can walk out for ages and it will still only be waist high. Entertainment in town is superb. Loads of bars for adults and children to visit. This is my 3rd visit to Benidorm and after the nightmare of having to pay 330+ euro to move hotels, the last 5 days of our holiday was superb. So remember if you want a good fun packed holiday with loads to do, great food & entertainment don't book Hotel Prince Park. This hotel is for the elderly and not a family place.

Two places which I thought I would never like which people told me were dumps - Skegness and Benidorm. After forcing myself to visit both to see for myself, I'm glad I did!
Benidorm is an unusual place - the way the tall buildings are, you will either love it or hate it. I love it - it's so interesting and different to other Spanish resorts and when there is a storm, it sounds like a firework display as the sound reverberates around the buildings!
There is so much here that most people should find something or someplace that they enjoy. I always believed that it had virtually been taken over by the British, but it feels very Spanish still, in spite of the presence of the Brit bars and cafes. We heard many accents and languages spoken there, so I guess it is a popular resort for people from many countries.
The beach is excellent and child-friendly and the sea clean - the beach has a few too many dog-ends on it but it is raked and rubbish collected every night. If you fancy a go at water-skiing, there is a fantastic zip-line cable-ski thing where you can ski (even as a beginner) a short way from the shore.
Must visit - the rocky promontory seperating the Playa Levante from the Playa Poniente - there is an excellent cafe up there, and the stunning view from the end of both bays sweeping around the blue/green see is not to be missed.
Disappointment - increasing amount of graffiti? I'm sure it wasn't there when I last visited (8 years ago!)
I must add that although we went in June, the beaches were absolutely heaving with people - they are building more and more rooms there which makes me wonder how everyone is going to fit on the beach!

Wasn't my kind of place. I just found it totally over crowded, the streets, shops, bars everywhere.. The resort was spotless even though it seemd the whole world was there on holiday. We didn't use the beach as again it was ridiculously busy I felt that each pair of sunbeds and brolly was only about 2" away from the next and you certainly couldn't turn them to follow the sun unless half the beach did so at the same time. As for the entertainment I can't really comment as we never went there seemed to be plenty of british bars showng all the soaps and BB!! we were in the old town so the buzzing bars are all on the square in the new town so that's where the party animals all head at about 2am as this when it gets going!
