We were a bit shocked on arrival to have to give 50 euro's deposit for each room, which we were not told about. The appartments were clean on arrival and were cleaned only once when we were there for the week, we had to buy our own loo rolls and the towels got a bit smelly by the 3rd day!
On the whole though we enjoyed our stay in them, though it was very noisy outside late at night and we had no balcony, which was a terrible shame and no air con.

I did not like the hotel one bit and will not go again after being treated with little respect by the staff and after having being intensely intimidated by fellow residents. Hotel staff taking no notice of it after complaining more than once about it by us and a few more residents.

We booked this holiday 2 weeks before we went. We didn't know what to expect and have to admit with what we paid we felt we have got value for money.
These apartments are very clean, you can smell the cleanliness as soon as you enter. We have no complaints at all, our apartment was spacious and not tatty, we have paid a lot more money have have had tattier rooms when we have gone abroad before to other hotels.
The Safari is well situated and the beach is only a slow 5 minutes walk away and there are planty bars, shops and supermarkets around.
I would recommend these apartments to anyone. Would definatley go there again.

The Safari apartments would have been really good if they had air-conditioning. It was actually hotter in the rooms than it was outside at night time. A few times we had to go outside and sit really late at night we could not sleep because of the heat. Lack of air-conditioning would put us off from going back to the Safari. Pity, because everything else we could not fault. Lack of sleep due to the heat in the rooms ruined our holiday.

The hotel was very clean,and well situated in the resort, the staff were friendly and helpfull,the pool was small but i found it ok as it was easy to keep an eye on my wee boy as there was not too many people in it.
The food and drink at the pool bar was nice and not too expensive,the rooms do not have air conditioning so made it very warm in them, we had a balcony which helped as we could sit out at night when we could not sleep.

we stayed at the safari apartments i was a bit worried after booking it because it was only a 2 star.
when we arrived i was really surprised the rooms was lovely,it had everything you needed i.e full kitchen toaster television and large closet space.
there was no balcony as you only get them on the first floor.
the pool was tiny and only got warm for a few hours as the sun did not shine on it all day,however the beach there is beautiful its only about a 10 minute walk.
there was a great pub over the road and bars and shops and restaurents all around so you never get bored.
calella town centre is fantastic.
the only problem was the pool area,there was only a small space for sunbeds,as the rest of the area is covered from the building,you need to get there early if you want a good space by the pool.overall all the holiay was great.

we booked this holiday on the location of the apartments,they were bang in the middle of everything ,just what we wanted,
The pool was the only down side,yes it was small ( the photograph in the brochure must have been taken with a wide lens camera, We used the pool at the Hotel Esplani which is just at the back of the Safari apartments.
They were spotlessly clean and clean towels every second day,linen twice a week,
The staff were friendly,and Jane who works in the bar was first class at making sangria.
Yes we would stay there again,

As we were self catering we had to cook our own food and in there were the essentials. We had a cooker, kettle, toaster and a fridge with a small freezer compartment.
The appartments were well located as they were close to all pubs and nightclubs. Easy for finding your way home when your drunk. They were near supermarkets and resraurants.
The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful when we were locked out.
There was no entertainment at the complex.

We booked this holiday as a last minute deal off teletext it was an allocation on arrival. When the operator who booked the holiday for us asked if we wanted anything particular we said anything with a pool. When we got there the pool was absolutly tiny and freezing cold the staff were english speaking locals and very miserable and unhelpful. The hotel its self was very clean and basic it wasnt far to the beach 10-15 mins. We did have a good holiday because we made the best of it we found a english bar the white horse that was absolutly fantastic the staff were hilarious and they really made our holiday.
