My wife and I stayed at the Oceanic Hotel for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. We have been to Goa many times and this hotel is definately the best we have ever stayed in.
Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifuly decorated and very comfortable indeed.
The food was absolutely gorgeous, with a wide range of choice for all tastes. My wife is a vegetarian and was spoilt for choice, on the days that she didnt fancy a curry she had Lasagne or Quiche and said it was fantastic. My favourite was Tiger Prawn Massala or Chicken Vindaloo, but it was all great.
The hotel is located on a Quiet road, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy village, but within easy walking distance of Patnem beach. The staff can arrange taxis/rickshaws/scooter/motorbike hire.
Les and Sheila were wonderful hosts and couldnt have done any more to make our honeymoon a magical 17 days. The staff were brilliant Savanan, Ammilla and Satish were all lovely people, very polite, helpful, attentive and extremely professional.
Les and Sheila organised a race night for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, with a best hat competition, strawberry cocktails, strawberrys and cream and a sweepstake for the race. We had a fantastic night!
All in all this hotel is a must for people wanting to chill out in beautiful suroundings. Whilst swimming in the pool we saw two monkeys that sat about 15ft away from us, lots of birdlife, Kingfishers, eagles ect. This place realy is pradise on earth!

We stayed here for 9 nights and on arrival were really happy with the ambiance and general feel of the place.
We were delighted we could be accommodated at a days notice (just a credit card number given over the phone to confirm our stay), but were advised we would have to move rooms a few times which was fine.
The boys who work here are friendly and always willing to help and advise on where to visit, and the hotel uses a rickshaw driver called Raj who for 50 rupees will take you into Palolem village itself (15 Min's walk) where all the restaurants are located. There were a few things we should highlight:
Rooms
In each of the three rooms we stayed in there were problems. The sheets in the first room smelt as though they weren
