Rooms cleaned and fresh towels every day. Hotel generally very good, reception bar and lounge area very modern and clean. All staff friendly if you took the time to talk to them especially Mari, Antonia and Antonio.
Breakfast was good, fried eggs Spanish streaky bacon and baked beans in the morning, plus a good continental, cheese ham salami rolls sliced bread plus cakes. A lack of fruit though.
Entertainment was good. Price of drinks at bar what you would expect at a hotel.
Hotel next to church, clock chimes on every hour and quarter hour but not a problem. Hotel a 10 minute walk to beach. A great hotel will choose again if holidaying in Pineda.

stayed here for a few days in may.what a lovely hotel!
couldnt believe what i got for such a cheap price.
had an initial hiccup when i arrived with the room i was given{one on second floor}i had requested a quiet room with a balcony, which is what i got. the room itself was very nice, but when i stepped out into the balcony, saw it was facing a wall, with the maintenance men and area immediately below me- not very private.when i requested a change, reception happily agreed with room 406-lovely.had a small double room to myself, with double bed, bath and balcony all for no single surcharge.had a bakery opposite, so was not overlooked at all.even had a lovely view af the mountains to one side!
i have stayed in many different hotels up to 4 star and the cleanliness was one of the best i have experienced.rooms and whole hotel was immaculate.
what other reviewers have said about it being authentic spain is so true.
the hotel IS a {pleasant} 10 minute walk to the beach, but you benefit from lovely location at the back of the town, right next to the gothic church-which i adored.really missed the chiming of the bells when i came home(they dont chime from 11pm - 8am so no bother)
the dining room was always relaxed and not busy (although it was out of season)the food was always well cooked and good, although it was very very limited in choice- normally a choice of soups 2 meat dishes fish choice usually a pasta or rice meal and ample salads and rolls.deserts were wonderfull with 5-6 choices plus always a selection of icecreams.i am vegetarian and i didnt go hungry but that was because i wasnt fussy and usually ended up with a choice of salad or one other i could create from all the veg plus chips or sauces cheese etc.deserts made up for lack of choice for me.
breakfasts were varied and ample - anyone who was not happy must be a very, very fussy eater.
staff were some of the nicest i have ever come across.
one lady at reception even took the trouble to draw me a map so i could find my way to the mountains, behind the hotel!
the weather was wonderfull for the first week in may- from 22-26 degrees and i found the rooftop sunterrace a lovely place to spend lots of chill out time and the pool is very nice but small.
they do seem to have a problem with the local youngsters setting off fireworks late at night in the town, as has been mentioned and i did hear them on one
night, but only for a short time as i think they were moved on.
all in all i can strongly advise anyone who is thinking of staying here to do so, without any worries.
2 weeks would probably be too long but anything up to 7-8 days and you really would not do any better for the price. the hotel is really on a par with a good 3 star and i enjoyed every minute.
i intend to go back one day, when i need some chill out time in the sun!!

A lovely hotel, the roof terrace pool and bar were relaxing and the bar food really good. The dinning room food was not very hot, but there was a microwave to use, and you would'nt go hungry. You also get tickets for free water sports on the beach.

Great and good value hotel !
The food is excellent and ideal for families or couples who don't want to go to a typical touristic place.
In the center of Pineda de Mar by car you can make many excursions around the region.
I would recommend it definitely!

Rooms are basic, rooms had 2,3 or 4 beds. Breakfast was ok but don't expect too much if you like hot stuff. Dinner was very disappointing, we ended up eating out after the first night.
Roof top pool was very cold,no shallow end for my grandkids
hotel is a 15 minute walk from railway station and beach.
Hotel reception staff very helpful.
There was no entertainment on while we stayed here{it was late September}all in all, a basic hotel that for our large family group was all we expected and met our needs perfectly.
