Hi
My Aunty, my 2 year old son and I went to his hotel in September 07. We were presently surprised due to all of the negative comments on here. I do agree with them not being fussy about the clientelle but what do you expect when you pay so little for an all inclusive last minute holiday? We were never affected by it, its just people enjoying themselves on holiday! The food was ok, we didnt eat there every single night. The people who are complaining about the food should have done the same, no one is forcing it down your neck!
Hotel was spotless, maids worked very hard and had the place gleaming and staff were very friendly. Its also close to all the shops which was very handy, there were 2 supermarkets and beach 2 minutes down the road with kiddies play park.
The only thing I was not pleased with was the pools, my son was in the baby pool for 10 minutes and came out in a rash, all the kids were the same.

If you are booked to stay at this hotel - make sure you check your details very carefully!! My father booked this hotel for me as a present - He booked through UK travel Shop - but apparently we were with ABC beds as our agent - we also were handed a rep envelope from someone called Laeitana tours at the airport - so had no idea who to speak to about our problem and each company passed the buck or said they would cal back and didn

We stayed at the Tossa Centre and the rooms here were very nice as they have just been refurbished, however the view left a bit to be desired. We wondered what the strange trench was at the back of the hotel only to find out two days into our holiday it was for flood waters to go out to sea. Believe me when I say flood waters I mean it, when it rains here it really does. We only had 2 nice days out of 7 and it rained and thundered the rest of the time. The location of the hotel is up a little side street and we slept at the Tossa Centre and had to go across the road to the Tossa Beach to eat! Id say we were staying at the best hotel apart from pool which you could fit about 3 people in and that was it (no joke). The food at the Tossa Beach was ok about what youd expect for the price you pay. The entertainment was at Tossa Beach too and was ok but nothing special!

We booked this hotel as a short break all inclusive, just three nights, and are we glad it was for three nights!
The hotel was dated, but I have to say the rooms were clean. We were put in the attic rooms, that only had a sky light for a window, so no balcony or a proper window. After two nights, I did feel that there was no way you could spend a week in these rooms. We didn't make a complaint as we had only really paid what you would pay for self catering.
The tossa centre over the road, the sister hotel was better, it had been refurbished, so it was better if you wanted a quiet drink.
The pools were much too small for the size of the hotels and the entertianment was very noisy, as you turnedinto the street you could hear the loud noise and knew straight away it was our hotel.

Booked this hotel as a late holiday, wish I hadn't!
The food was so repetitive,Breakfast - Fried eggs, Bacon, Sausage,Baked beans every single day. By the 4th day they had run out of pineapple juice so they added water to it hence all the drinks were poured and left. The rest of the meals were of a similar ilk, the beef was like eating shoe leather- tough, The snacks consisted of toasted cheese/ham sandwiches OR beefburgers and chips, all week. No tea and cakes as advertised in the all inclusive option.
Also not available but advertised in the all inclusive
were laundry service, mini bar/fridge.
The prices were overpriced in anything you wished to purchase or use, Internet was 2 euros for 8 mins, crisps were 1 euro 50. If you wished to use the table tennis (also included in the all inclusive) you had to buy your own bats and ball!!!! If you wanted a game of pool- 2 euros!!
The swimming pool? size of a postage stamp, big enough for 6 kids and 2 lilos, certainly not big enough for guests from 122 rooms on a summers day.
The Hotel itself is very dated and needs a complete refusbishment, door don't lock, sinks not secure etc.
The conversations from the next room was quite audible through the air conditionins vent. That didn't work either, good thing it wasn't very hot!!!
I must say the only redeeming feature was the entertainment which was quite good and the actual staff, especially at the reception desk.
This review does seem negative I know but if you want a cheap holiday and not too fussed try it. I personally will not be going to the Tossa Beach Hotel AGAIN.
