With a beautiful beachfront location the hotel Playa la Barrosa is an attractive property with a large number of facilities on site. Wander down to the beach or make the most of the neighboring hotels facilities.

This hotel forms part of a complex of three and is in a fantastic location directly on the beach (and what a beach). All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and even the pool area which did get exceptionally busy was spotless. The welcome on arival was first class and most of the staff are fiendly and efficient. The food in the restaurant which catered for the half board element was fair, however the restaurant beside the pool area was excellent and I ate here most days as the quality was worth the cost. The purpose of my holiday was to relax and get over a bereavment and the only way that was going to happen was to avoid the pool area. This was no hardship as a few steps down the boardwalk took you to a beach hut bar with beds and parasols, the latter two costing 7 euros a day. It was perfect. I'm not one for Butlins type entertainment in any case, but the song and dance routine here was just awful, however again no worries as you are prermitted to use the facilities of the 5 star Barrossa Palace also on the complex and here I enjoyed an evening of cocktails and jazz. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if like me you are a female travelling alone it is perfect. I felt safe throughout my stay.
