If you are ever going to stay at this hotel make sure you are fit and very healthy and don't have any breathing problems were you need to use inhalers, the road from the front up to the hotel should be named as Coronary Hill as this hill could lead and cause a person to have a heart attack, the side of the hotel where we where it was always in the shade, and another thing is advisable to bring earplugs because you find when people come in late they can be a bit nosy taking no thought for people trying to sleep, and people argueing during that time of the morning....

In Benalmadena very nice beach nice and flat and plenty of little shops where you can buy nick nacks or souvenirs A must visit is to Benalmadena Boating Marina, I have never seen one as large and very pretty you could spend all day at it and not get bored finding something to do. and a trip to Mijas is also a must and to visit the Chocolate factory which is free to visit and it cost from Benalmadena to Mijas by bus each way Euro 1.74 bus number 121 or any other bus, also to visit guys doing sand sculptures

Beach was clean and sandy albeit a couple of rocky areas immediately behind Hotel - go 100 yards to right and all sand. Watersports are immediately behind Hotel with plenty of beach bars and bars towards the harbour which is very busy every night with visitors. Torremolinos centre is a 10 min taxi ride away - will cost you 6/7 Euros each way. Benalmadena harbour is a short walk.

We found Benalmadena clean and the beach is lovely. There's plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Will be returning next year hopefully.

A very nice resort. Plenty to do & see during the day.
One minor gripe is there are way too many cafe/bars & not enough with live entertainment, though The Elefante & Bonanza bars are notable exceptions.

Benal Medina(Arroya de Miel)is very pleasant and nice place with lots of cafes etc. on the main road.I would have liked to be here instead of the beach road where the hotel (Benalmadena Palace) is situated. The beach road is a tourist ghetto with sky scrapers hotels and I found it very unpleasant under the rain and windy weather.

this was our 4th. visit to the resort so we know it well, some good bars & restuarants visit the china palace for an excellant 3 course meal go for the menu of the day under 5 euros, the restuarant is on the main road opp. the irish times pub.

It was out of season with little entertainment, the beach looked nice but in some areas was uncomfortable to walk on barefoot due to large amoumts of broken shells ;-)

Lovely 20 minute walk along the promenade to the marina which is well worth seeing. Bus stop almost outside the hotel (Las Arenas) for trips to Torremolinos and Malaga or going the other way to Fuengirola and Marbella. Lovely park two minutes from hotel and 10 miutes further to the train station. Beaches were clean and tidy. Although not running as it was out of season the cable car near the station is exciting going up and gives fabulous views at the top of the coast, Gibraltar and the Atlas mountains of Morocco.
