The hotel is showing some signs of ageing, however, the hotel is spotlessly clean and is cleaned everday, rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels, sheets were changed 3 times a week.
I have stayed in 3 star hotels before and the food has being terrible, I was very surprised that the food in La Roca was fantastic quality, all meals were buffet style, breakfast was the usual, full english, choice of pastries, cheeses, salamis & hams and cereals. the evening meal was different everynight however thhere was always a choice of 3 pastas, soup and the salad bar, 3 meats, 2 choice of fish, etc. if you are wanting british food i suggest you stick to Blackpool as you wont get this here, afterall you are in spain.
the hotel staff are amazing, all very friendly and speak very good enlglish, the entertainment staff are also very friendly and talkative.
we are visiting this hotel again in sept and cant wait, it was fantastic for a 3 star hotel/price!

Hotel la roca is in a good position 50 yds from beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Hotel room was clean and maids did room every day.
We stayed full board but to be honest food was not to our British liking.
Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of fruit, cereals and a hot cooked breakfast. Sausages were hot dogs fried.
eggs grilled, bacon very streaky.
Lunch was same as evening meal with the usual veal, fish, spaghetti cold meats etc. We only stayed for 3 nights but it was the same throughout.
Obviously the hotel need to cater for all kinds of taste.
If the food was more Brit orientated I would stay there again.
p.s. We need mash and jacket potatoes with beef and steak to survive!

Stayed at this hotel from the 26th June to the 5th of
July.
On arrival we were given a room that was supposed to be big enough for 3 adults but was far to small we asked for a larger room and were given one the next day. The room was spotless and cleaned every day, with fresh towels.
If you go to this hotel ask for a room overlooking the pool we had room no 0216.
The food was good with two cooks preparing food
actually in the dining room if you take water with your meals there are two choices mineral water in caraffes which you are charged for, or jugs of water which are free. You are not told this when you enter the dining room and if you order water you will be given the mineral water and charged.
Hotel location was ok but every thing seems to be up rather steep hills. Nice marina about a ten minute walk away with a large park full of animals also about a ten minute walk plenty of bars and resturants close by.
Hotel staff are like you get in most hotels some are friendly others are not, The reception staff at this hotel were great. This hotel as a lot of French and Spanish guests very few English visitors when we were there. No problem with the sunbeds in the morning there were plenty of them. It had a nice pool area.
The bar of this hotel is a joke it opens in the morning at 12.30 closes at 2.30 and does not reopen until 6.30 in the evening there are soft drink machines in the hotel but if you want a cold beer you will have to go out of the hotel to get one.
Entertainment we found poor and went out every night.
