I would recommend the ~Dona Sofia apartments to anyone. They have everything you want from a holiday except a swimming pool.
We booked up through Scott on the internet who is a genuine bloke and very helpful.
There is a pool still being advertised but apparently it was sold by the owners 2 years ago to build a new hotel, but there is a long legal fight in Spanish courts about this and the pool should be back next summer. In the meantime Scott said when we arrive we can use a nearby hotels swimming pool but he had to cancel that as a family from hell had caused trouble there. Scott apologised and gave us 100 euros refund for the inconvenience.
Anyway you don't need a pool cos the sea is on your doorstep, there is a great beach too.
The apartment itself was fantastic , luxury infact, anything you want is there, 2 bathrooms, sat TV with all English channels, great balcony, great kitchen, air con, etc, etc, etc.
Good location too, near to supermarkets, shops, lots of places to eat and drink on doorstep.
We got train from airport and it took 23 mins to walk from train station to dona Sofia with cases where we was met by Scott, but he will come to airport if you want him to.
The zoo is a ten minute walk and the water park is 15 minute walk away.
There is excellent security on the complex of 5 big blocks, caretakers and security men around day and night. Little park where our kids played is there too.
Apart from pool which should be sorted for 2007, I couldn't fault the place.
