Had a lovely 4 night stay in the Marriott with friends. Found the staff, the complex and the rooms to be of a high standard. We had a 2 bedroomed suite and it had every home comfort you could wish for. Spacious living accommodation and very nice en-suite bathrooms. TV's in every room.
We only ate in one of the restaurants and it was nice but fairly expensive. The shop was very expensive but we were able to drive to a nearby supermarket. A hire car is definitely recommended.
The beach wasn't great and needed cleaning but we stayed by the pool which was lovely. There was a Happy Hour at the pool bar which we took advantage of!
Overall, we had a lovely time and the Marriott is a very nice place to stay.

We booked a preiew weekend with Marriott from Malaga airport when we visitied before christmas.
It was a special deal for a 3 night 4 day stay together( flights not included) with free car hire on the term that you have to attend their 90 minute presentation ( think time share)
The location is a bit awkward - off the coastal A7 and pass the Don Karlos hotel and througha couple of winding roads until you go down a very steep hill. It is definately a resort.
The 2 bed apartment we booked was immaculate, spacious and had all the mod-cons you would at home. Lovely huge master bedroom with huge ensuite ( no door between bedroom and bathroom), the other twin room was a good size with it's own shower room. Lots of wardrobe space and a tv in each room as well as tv/dvd/hi-fi in lounge. Lovely decor, well-lit,and a super equipped kitchen with utility room with washer/dryer, Huge balcony with garden furniture and the views of the sea.
There were a couple of restaurants there, bar med and charlies bar where you can buy burgers, pizza, takeaway food and a small expensive shop where they sold a limited range of grocereies.
Huge outdoor pool, small warm hot-tubs and 2 indoor family pools which were heated. Direct access to the beach which was disappointing as there were huge stones and rocks going down. Kids club had a full schedule mon-sun which was divided into age groups. If you joined the ' marriott vacation club' you can ' buy' a week here for life otherwise a week here booked directly could cost you 700GBP.
It's great if all you want to do is sit in the apartment and stay within the resort and potter around.
