The weather always plays a part on whether you think a Hotel is good or not (well it does it my book!!).
The weather was fantastic for March and we had beautiful clear blue skies all week. This hotel was ideally placed for access to Puerto Banus. The port is walkable during the day but you do go along the beach for a small part of the walk, so night time in high heels is not great! (Sorry boys!)
The hotel accommodation was excellent. We had booked a Junior Suite. Small well equipped and clean kitchenette (dishwasher, microwave grill/ hob etc.). Separate living room with LCD TV, DVD player. Nice bedroom with large bed (and another LCD TV!!). Huge bathroom with Jacuzzi style bath and large separate walk in shower. All immaculate (and I'm fussy!!).
The pool area is not huge and I imagine during the Summer months it could be quite busy, but we had no problems getting sunbeds. The pool was a nice size but the childrens pool facilities were small and again in busy periods, I imagine this would fill quite quickly.
Pool bar serving drinks and sandwiches/burgers. Menu limited if you were there all week, but there are some bars on the beach which are quite nice.
Breakfast was what you would expect. Fruit, cereal, rolls, croissants, hot food, freshly cooked eggs.
Small (but nice) bar area. There is however no lounge or places to sit, hence my comment about the weather. IF the weather had been poor then I think we would have struggled for somewhere to go, other than our room.
Would definitely go again and its an ideal hotel for short stays to catch a bit of sun!

I visited this hotel out of the main season with a friend and his wife as the flight and hotel rate with expedia was really cheap compared to other hotels/resorts.
We arrived at 1pm to be told the rooms were not ready but to come back at 3pm, when we returned they upgraded us to two "suite" rooms which were stunning, mine was with a stunning sea view.
For the 25 pound per room per night i paid we received a suite with a large king bed with an adjoining bathroom with shower, bidet and whirlpool bath, bathrobes and disposable slippers and towels to die for.
The living room had a large corner settee with LCD TV, a fitted kitchen with cooker/dishwasher/microwave etc, a dining room table and a hifi system.
The patio area had another settee unit with table and chairs.
All staff were polite and friendly, the hotel runs an hourly bus to the guadalpin marbella hotel which leaves on the hour and returns on the half hour, a great way to see other areas, and i enjoyed a wonderful experience at this great hotel.
Simply stunning.
