Visited this Hotel in December and certainly no regrets booking it.

Hotel is situated in Banjidillo area of Torremolinos to the west of the centre.

Situated next to the Beach, it is one of three Hotels in a complex other two are Don Pedro and Don Marco but this one is far bigger than other two .

They all share a courtyard which is a pleasant environment.

The Don Pedro and Don Pablo, week I was there were usinf the Don Pablo restaurant which meant it was always busy but never a problem.

Rooms

Found rooms to be of a more than acceptable standard, only slight criticism I would make is no light on balcony, but only because as a couple like to have a drink on balcony on an evening.

I would also advise booking the sunny side rooms.

Food

Food was good usual fare though the sausage served up for those who like a cooked breakfast would not be to British taste.

I also thought that as a 4 star there may have been some show cooking, e.g someone cooking omelettes, fresh pasta.

Entertainment

Again usual fare one act on at about 9.30 each night preced by prize bingo or quiz at 9.

Pool Area

Ample sunbeds two pools plus a indoor pool.

There are two large bowling greens, up to 1 p.m allocated to a club but after that open to public.

You can hire a beach towel for duration of stay for 10 euro, which is returned at end.

It was not clear however and I only found out by word of mouth.

You can exchange money in Hotel but exchange rate is poor.

Getting There

If travelling independently, it is easy

1. Taxi direct from Airport was 17 euro
2. You can catch train from Airport to Torremolinos 1.25 euro and then a taxi 7 euro, probably worth paying the extra 6.50 euro.


Location

It is about a ten minute walk to Torremolinos but if not into walking up steep inclines you can catch a lift cost 50 cent, lift is a 5/10 minute walk away along beach front.


Hotel was predominately very much the more mature clientele, week but ideally suited me to be frank.

Out and About

It is a very pleasant stroll along the front but quite long, be warned, plenty of bars and shops though along the way, promenade goes up to Benalmadena.

Torremolinos centre is a vibrant place too and no sign of any lager louts, a reutation it used to have. I believe the council have acted on that problem.

Nice hotel,the reception staff spoke excellent English & were very helpful.
Maids came in every day, made beds & left clean towels.
No lights on any of the balconies though which was a shame because it meant we didn't use it much.
The food was nice, but as previous people have mentioned, it was never that hot. (Husband thought that was just me being picky though).
Drinks seemed quite expensive round the pool during the day. (eg.

i stayed here 2yrs ago marvellous but this time very disappointing food not very good had to eat out sometimes also the pool area was dirty one of the terraces wasnt cleaned at all wont be going back there

Very clean hotel but needs redecoration.

Food was varied plenty meat fish fruit breads salads etc puddings were not so varied and just seemed to change shape eg rectangle one night wedge shaped next.meat was tough on occasions. It was never very hot but the microwave was there surely there are temperature regulations as regards food in spain.

Location on the road beside beach,you have to walk up Calle San Miguel or take lift to town centre. Staff were polite and helpful when asked.

Only watched some entertainment but what we saw was good.

Air con was good.lifts were noisy and hot especially when busy at mealtimes. Indoor pool not supervised,only checked occasionally so watch children please.

Not sure if I would go back to this hotel again,I like to go somewhere new.

Our first stay at this hotel, which was kept very clean.

Our room was cleaned and towels replaced each day.

The restaurant was the only problem, slow clearing of tables led to queues forming. We queued 4 times in the evening, for about 10/15 mins. Some guests had altercations with the restaurant staff and we saw two arguments. The food was quite varied.

The pool area was very good with plenty of sunbeds and also a pool bar.

The evening entertainment was also very good, something we do'nt use very much. We saw 3 shows and the drinks were not too expensive either.

All in all, a good quality 4* hotel. Would we go back, I'm not sure !

This was our second stay at this hotel& we are also booked for October.It is a smoke free hotel, a small smokers room is provided off the main public area.
Cleanliness- excellent.
Food- has improved to an even higher standard with lots of variety.
Location- ideal, just across a quiet road from the beach.
Staff- very helpful & friendly.
Entertainment- extremely good.
Huge outdoor area with pools & sunbeds with large fully shaded areas to keep out of the direct sun.

Had a lovely holiday here.

We booked separate flights and hotel accomodation. We got a taxi from outside the airport (not pre-booked) to the hotel and it was 15 euros for three of us plus luggage.

When we arrived we were given the choice of two rooms - one with a balcony and one without. This was because we were three adults in one room. We chose the room without a balcony; it was on the 9th floor with lovely views, and was much larger than the room with a balcony.

The hotel was very clean and our room cleaned daily. The food was fine, although sometimes it could have been hotter. The choice was enough for most people I would have thought.

We only saw a couple of shows in the evening which were fine. Daily activities were archery, bowls, french boules and shooting.

At this time of year it was mainly older people, with a few young couples, a few with very young children. The guests seemed to know one another from previous years and were very friendly.

The hotel is situated just across the road from the beach.

Cleanliness- excellent.
Food- satisfactory with a few reservations.
Location- ideal.
Staff- very friendly & helpful.
Entertainment- excellent, very professional.

Excellent Hotel.

You could eat your food off the floors it was THAT clean!Great choice of food and the staff in the dining room made you feel more than just a number.

The entertainment was good especially the flamenco dancing.

The room was home from home with a decent size TV, good sound insulation, very comfy beds and everything supplied in the bathroom. Our only gripe; we called back last week while staying nearby to enquire about booking direct and the unfriendly gent on reception treated us like we were a nuisance, interrupting him on the internet.

Well, you always get one.

Would definitely go back to this hotel.

Clean, friendly, we asked for a sea view and low floor and these were given, food plenty of choice, we also had a wheelchair and access was available.
