Arrived back on 14 June 2003 after a 2-week stay at this hotel. We got the details from teletext and booked through a company called Fleetway Travel, getting a very good deal on an All-Inclusive holiday.
The four of us, myself, my wife and our 2 children (son 8 years and daughter 5 years) arrived at Reus (pronounced Rayoose) airport after a 2-hour flight from Gatwick. The airport is very small but we managed to collect our bags and be outside within 45 minutes. There is a taxi rank right outside the airport building and the fare to Estival Park (EP) was 29 Euros (only charged 23 Euros on the return!).
First impressions of the hotel were good. The frontage had an impressive look and the reception area was clean and spacious. There are 3 hotels EP I, II and III and loads of apartments that make up the complex, which is huge. Checking in for all hotels and apartments is at the reception for EP II, so if you are staying in one of the others you might have to lug your cases a long way! Fortunately, we were staying in EP II, which appears to accommodate the all-inclusive guests. Reception staff were very helpful and we were inside our room within a matter of minutes, Room number 2000, on a first floor corner, overlooking the pool and kids play area.
The room was a duplex, consisting of a downstairs containing a sitting area with sofa bed, bathroom, balcony and stairs to an upper level. The upper tier had 2 single beds it
