This hotel was spotless and was being cleaned all the time. Our room was on the 5th floor (no noise from above) and was comfortable for 3 people (no more). You can hire the fridge in your room for a small refundable fee. The food was very good with plenty of choice but even after a week we decided to have the odd meal out. This hotel was 10 mins walk from the beach and 20 mins from theme park (taxi 5 euros). The entertainment wasn't very good in this hotel 10 -11pm was your lot. The drinks were also very expensive at the bar and we tended to wait a while to be served. The staff were all very friendly and worked hard. The childrens club was enjoyed by my son on a number of occasions. Children can be left 7 -11pm for a small fee a few evenings a week. We chose the side pool to spend time at because inflaitables were aloud here and the sunbeds were much more comfortable than the ones around the main pool. Overall a very nice hotel but would not go back to salou.

We were a bit worried about going to this hotel after reading some of the reviews although when we got there we were pleasantly surprised.
Hotel is very clean and staff were always very helpful and friendly.
The hotel rooms are very small and there is no way more than 2-3 people could be comfortable. Room had everything you need and the fridge to hire was fantastic(nothing worse that luke warm beer).
The hotel seemed excellent for kids there was always something to keep them occupied during the day.
One word of warning everyone ran to get out to the pool at 9.00am it was hilarious to watch although we were really annoyed that people left towels on sunbeds while they went out for a day(should not be allowed).
Hotel is quite strict although it was good and you felt that you and your belongings were safe as guard was with your cases and also a guard on the door every night.
What can I say about the food, not great almost felt we were in prison, very bland but you definitely got your monies worth you can eat as much as you like so we ate out most nights of the 14 we were there.
Overall the hotel facilities were good and the roof top pool was a blessing for adults with no kids.

Loved this hotel! The food was gorgeous with lots of choice... though the children's area was not labelled making it hard to find out what it was.
The hotel was immaculate and clean
Overall the best hotel I have been to so far and would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel,the apartaments were of good size but would be quite cramped for any more than three people.
The apartaments were cleaned every day and were cleaned before you went in.
The staff here are very friendly.
There are two pools and in one inflatables are allowed, the other is for swimming.

The building work which we were informed about was not noisy at all, infact there was never many workmen on the actual site. For people who look for good entertainment as I do this is not the hotel for you, plenty of activities during the day and a mini disco for children at 9 but after that it is terrible. Short bursts of entertainment for an hour, alot of acrobatics that are basically the same act, few doses of kareoke and bingo, everything closes at midnight which is a shame sometimes. Big slopes to get to hotel which can be difficult to get up with wheelchairs or people with bad backs, etc. Getting a sunbed is hard, the hotel lock the doors till 9am but people queue up at the door from 8:00, it had started getting a bit violent when I had left, only 1 smallish pool allowed for inflatables. Also you can't check in till 2pm so if you arrive at about 9am your will have to wait. Air conditioning in rooms is not very good, the maids do come regularly and you can have fresh towels everyday, no problems except things obn my bedside cabinet tended to get knocked off through pure carelessness and not be placed back which got so irritating it came to the point of not having my bed made. The hotel was very throughly cleaned though, everywhere literally. Lots of rules and it felt quite strange with CCTV everywhere and a security guard on the door, you have to be dressed if you want to go inside, can't drape anything over your balconys, etc. Overall a nice stay but with all the rules and regulations and minor problems I would not visit again.

The hotel was very clean and seemed to be being cleaned 24hrs a day, This is the cleanest hotel i have ever stayed in within Salou. The food is served buffet style with a different menu every night and to consider it is buffet style it was always hot and fresh with a good few different selections. (The only thing i did not like was, If you wanted a drink with your evening meal you had to pay for it). The location is the only thing what spoils this hotel as it is one of the last hotels out of the resort, but you can walk to the centre of Salou within 10-15 minutes and it will take you 15-20 minutes to walk to Port Aventura from the hotel.But please be warned of a fairly steep hill up to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The entertainment was nothing special at all and i would reccommend going out at night into Salou for a little better entertainment but more importantly you will find the drinks cheaper in the resort centre.

Every area of hotel spotless, cleaners everywhere! Hotel is tastefully decorated, rooms not too small, have stayed in smaller! Maid service, clean towels and linen every day.
Hotel is located at the top of a fairly slopy road but did not find this a problem at all. Hotel food offered lots of different dishes but mostly meat or fish which could be a prob if you're a veggie. Lovely breakfast omelettes made to order each morning on hotplate. Loads of choice for breakfasts, beautiful fresh fruit, cereals, full english, bread and pastries. Restaurant staff on the whole very pleasant but overworked and a bit slow clearing the tables between courses.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful but bar staff leave a lot to be desired (surly). Entertainment team appear to have been let loose from local asylum but they are good fun and keep the kids busy at various intervals throughout the day. Night time entertainment more comical than quality but not too bad. Shows consist mainly of lots of bendy acrobat type people and knife throwers.
Hotel has two pools, inflatables only allowed in side pool which can only be accessed through the bar/ restaurant area. Lifeguard by main pool on most days and rules with an iron fist.
Restauarnt has a strict dress code, gents must wear long trousers for evening and no vests at any time for blokes. Ladies dress code not as strict.

I stayed in the Club Dorada palace and I thought it was really fantastic.
The food was really nice and one night there was a man playing the piano.
The hotel was great the pool huge! and the staff really friendly.
Most people were English in the hotel apart from a few Spanish people.
The room was sooo nice and the great thing was that the hotel is a 15minute walk to the Universal park and that park is absolutely amazing!

The food was really good,however as they had so much choice on every night they were unable to vary it so we did eat out for the last 4 days of our holiday.
The hotel cannot be faulted for it's cleanliness.
The hotel is on a small steep hill and had a building site opposite when we were there, however we were not disturbed as they never seemed to do any work.
Don't believe the reps when they say Port Aventura is only a 10 minute walk away (maybe if you're an olympic speed walker)We caught taxi's most of the time.
Entertainment was aimed at smaller children and adults which did not start until 10.30 so our 11 year old got a bit bored.
Staff were fantastic, I was taken ill several times and they took really good care of me and had my meals sent up to the room.
The Escape club reps were really good, Hi Emma and Emma.
If you take any trips. Do the Jeep Safari. Our driver was Benny and we had an amazing day, really good fun.
Port Aventura and Costas Caribe were unbelieveable. We had a 7 day pass and still didn't do everything.
