This review is for May 2006 not 2005 as I've stated...
Staff friendly and helpful, however our room over looked the main road and if patio door open could be noisy, my son found it hard to sleep and he was 12.
Food nice but repeative, crisps 1.30 euro sm bag crisps, 2 euro for a game of pool,4.20euro for 3 scoops of ice cream in a bowl, can be expensive even staying around the hotel especially if you have few kids.
The pool is nice and clean, childrens section is v small, entertainment not great, more for older people.
Nice hotel but think I'd get apartment next time and eat out as there are plenty of great places to eat.
Two weeks here would be too long, as I don't eat meat and I was tired of salad by day 3.
Rooms are very clean but found them a bit small, one of the male staff likes to lure at the young ladies sunbathing which was v off putting, he was v touchy feelie, so all you young people looking fun,it's not here!!!
Salou is nice but majorca beaches are much nicer...

The food in the hotel is very good for a 3* there is plenty of choice. Something to suit everyone.
The hotel is very clean.
The location is wonderful. You are near to all the discos and bars but the hotel is situated in a resdidential area so it is also quiet. It is also situtated very close to the beach and also very close to the Theme Park. It is a first class location for all ages.
The hotel staff are wonderful, from the cleaners through to the bar/restaurant staff, they cannot do enough for you and they always have a smile on their face.
The entertainment is average but still enjoyable.
I have been to this hotel 4 times already and plan to return next year.

Hello, me and my family have just come back home, from staying in the lovely rooms of Salou Princess. We have tried many hotels before, but this one has to be the best!
Everyone was so friendly, and the pool was amazing.

Salou Princess is in a brilliant location, right in the middle of Salou with only a 5 minute walk to one of the finest beaches. Also excellant location beacuse it ius surrounded by bars and restraunts so there is no wandering to find somewhere for live entertainment at night. The hotel itself doesn't look its best from the outside but inside its completely different. The food in the resteraunt was okay but there could have been a better selection of food for children. The entertainment was also okay but would have better if there was some for the British. Other than that the hotel was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and some spoke good English.

i was only at the hotel for three days in august 2003, my main purpose of my stay was to go to the port adventura theme park, however because of the excellent location to the beach and bars we couldnt resist looking around, the hotel looks slight ly shabby when you drive up, but i is completely different when you walk through the doors, the food was execeptable however if eaten day in day out im sure would be repetative. Saying that im hoping to maybe return there this summer.

we have just returned from a two week holiday at the Salou Princess. We were very happy with the service and location of this hotel. No complaints, we have two daughters aged 12 and 17 and our 17 year old daughter brought 3 friends along. If you have very young children and want to be entertained on site then this is not the hotel for you but if you want a good quality base as we did it is ideal. There is lots to do and see in and around Salou - loads of family bars which provide family entertainment within short walking distance. The hotel is right in the centre of salou a 5 minute walk to the beach, close to port adventura and the train station if you fancy a day in barcelona. The staff were friendly and treated us with respect. We went to the hotel at the peak of the season and there were plenty of sunbeds and space. The only thing I would suggest is to have meals fairly early as we went to breakfast at 9.50 some mornings and the breakfast was a bit cold but other than that it was an excellent holiday we would definitely return.
