We stayed in the Pullman for 4 nights in February, after having previously stayed in the Landmark in Bangkok. I would definitely choose the Pullman over the Landmark again, it more than matches it and is significantly cheaper. Firstly, the location of the hotel is near Victory Monument, 5 minute walk from the Skytrain, which makes Bangkok a breeze to get round. The hotel put on a free shuttle bus to the skytrain station, but you don't need it unless you have difficulty walking more than 100 yards. There are lots of local restaurants and market stalls in the vicinity of the hotel, and it is close to the Chatachuak weekend market, which is a must see. The room was large and airy, very clean, with a huge bathroom with bath and separate shower. The decor is very modern and bright with flatscreen TV and iPod docking station with speakers. We booked a room on the executive floor which I would recommend as you get access to the lounge with free alcoholic drinks and canap
