I found a great deal on bookings.com for this hotel. It was almost half the price from other sites so I wasn't expecting the best of rooms. However, we got a lovely surprise as they upgraded us from standard to deluxe. (There is actually not a lot of difference between the 2. The standard is closer to the road).

I can't fault the room at all. Superb value. Comfy bed; day bed in room; lots of storage area; chairs and desk, safe, minibar, TV, slippers, robes, flip-flops, beach bag and towels, brollies all in room; Fresh fruit every day. DVD player with movies and music free. Bathroom can be open to the room but there is a screen to slide across. Sink and bath area leads to a further screen where you find toilet and shower. Hairdryer, tea and coffee also in room.

This hotel has the biggest pool I have ever seen in a resort hotel. As well as this one there are 2 other smaller ones and a children’s area. Hotel is on the beach.

The biggest plus for us was that there was absolutely no need to worry about sun loungers. There are so many that you can walk down at any time and find empty ones.

We only went to breakfast once but it had a great selection (couldn’t be bothered after the first day so just had tea in room).

A stroll of well under 10 mins takes you to Fisherman’s Village where you can find more than enough restaurants to mean that you have no chance of getting round them all in a fortnight. Our favourite was Smile. Happy Elephant was a disappointment- it wasn't too bad but certainly didn't live up to the standards we had found the last visit to Koh Samui.

We never paid more than 200 bahts for the 2 of us to get into Chaweng. I had noted others saying 300 bahts but stand your ground. This was also the case on a late return from Chaweng.

Love the Friday Walking Street in Bophut. Loads of stalls, eating places and even a group playing by the pier.

Would I return to the hotel- yes, if I do actually return to KS. At the moment I think I have been enough times.

We stayed here for 10nights in May and had the most fantastic stay.

The Hotel went above and beyond our expectations.The gardens are stunning, and everything about the hotel was perfect.

They pay great attention to detail and the staff were always very polite and helpful.We wold definitely stay here again and hope to return in the near future.

Because we stayed here for 10 nights we were upgraded to a Cottage Villa, and what a fabulous room! We had our own Private garden with plunge pool and Sala to one side and then through the bedroom and bathroom area towards the other side of the villa through more sliding doors was a sunken bath and outdoor shower..It was pure luxury! The hotel and our villa was spotlessly clean and the villa was cleaned each day by about 3members of staff. The plunge pool was also cleaned every day.

Breakfast, which is served from 6.30am til 10.30 was a feast and had almost everything you could imagine on offer.We used to go down at around 9.45am each morning and there was still plenty available - mind you, I don't think the hotel was overly busy so it maybe a different story if it's full - but I very much doubt it.

We didn't really eat at the hotel apart from a couple of lunches, but we found it also to be very good.

The Spa was excellent and we used it on a couple of occasions. The ambience and decor were so relaxing and the tropical flower displays that were all over the place made it feel even more special.
