This is one of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed in. Attention from staff was second to none. The view from our room was brilliant. The hotel only has 3 floors but i still think they have the best veiws of the bay.
Rooms were very spacious and were cleaned everyday - i have absolutely no complaints.
Choice of food for breakfast was amazing. They really did cater for all nationalities. We did eat in the hotel restaurant a couple of times - this was very pricey but the food was excellent, especially in the italian restaurant. Head into the bay, theres some really lovely seafood restaurants which are only half the price of some of the hotels.
This hotel is situated at the very end of Patong Bay - so a short walk will take you into the middle of everything. There is a little steep hill that takes you to the hotel from the street - this is fine walking down but a little harder going back up in the Thai heat. However, tuk-tuks and taxis are always on hand and should always be very cheap - be sure to haggle with them.
Mostly every night of our holiday we ended into the bay. Theres some really good bars and clubs - Bangla Road is also an eyeopener but a great night out. So i couldn't really comment on the hotel entertainment. I did see a singer one night before we went out and she was quite good, everyone who was watching her seemed to enjoy her.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel and for what we paid i feel we got an absolute bargain. The Thai people are the most friendliest people on the planet - i would encourage anyone to go to Thailand.

Just a short walk from busy Patong bay, most rooms have views of the bay and are in 3 storey blocks with many steps in between. There is a single lift from reception to just above the smaller pool.
There is also, a 10 minute walk along a path, a pier with good swimming & snorkeling off the end. The pier is never busy and has a bar, toilets and shower.
The long beach area is quite rocky, especially at low tide.
The staff were very friendly and helpful but their English was not always good enough to understand our requests.
Most evening entertainment had a theme and children seemed quite well catered for.
The food was excellent in quality and variety.
