We stayed at Paradise Suites hotel for two weeks in a suite.
We would have no hesitation in going again for a holiday, yes it is just above basic but given you are in a third world country it was luxury !!!
The staff were the best ever, always going out of their way to help if you had a problem. ( we never did ) A few guests who were on half board did see the rep about the lack of choice for evening meals and duly got a refund with no problems.
Never have we had such good service, the bedding changed every other day by a lovely cleaner, fresh towels every day, fresh flowers in our suites every 3rd day and also coconuts left in our room!!!
All in all the hotel staff are fantastic as is the mad taxi man who is outside the hotel ( elephant man !!)
If you go here you wont be disappointed - we can gaurantee.

I really dont know where to start with report,we usually go to Goa in the winter months but decided on the Gambia, and after booking decided to upgrade to Paradise Suites
I think it was the best move we could have done, the hotel cleaners had the hotel spotless, the hotel staff could not have been more attentive to our needs, and the food was delicious
Our room though basic was spotless, and the air conditioning was one of the best we have had in any hotel, though the hotel was full when we arrived,it is set out so that none of the 2 pools are busy, the pool and loungers are scrubbed down every day,and towels are free, you also have free afternoon tea and cake free, the poolside menu is good and varied and good value, everything is cooked to order
Though the hotel is Gambian owned, they have employed a lovely british girl Ssra, who will deal with any complaints you do have, which in our 2 weeks thier never was ,and I beleave Sara is recommending changes that would suit the tourist better.
Entertainment is nightly and 2 nights I would reccomend to stay in,is the culture night and the night with the man on stilks, really not to be missed
We were on bed and breakfast which was really good ie,bacon, eggs, sausages, boiled eggs etc,and the bread is to die for,you can also book in at half board.
We found the staff to be more than friendly than the Goan people, which is something I never thought I would say outside India
Our 2 weeks was more like a second honeymoon, and it was all down to our stay in the paradise suites, all in all 10/10,we will be back to Gambia, but in Paradise Suites every time
