The Royal Occidental Hotel in Hammamet is situated among beautiful sandy beaches and well kept gardens. There are plenty of attractions and facilities in and around the resort including Golf Clubs, Casino and the Marina.

Very geared towards the French and German, not very English friendly. All TV stations in French/German same for many hotel signs. Staff English language not good. Claims to be family and child friendly but dated and worn out toys, clear lack of maintenance. Staff did try but not sure if that was genuine or because they wanted tips. Games room disappointing. Breakfasts poor but dinners much better. Lunches showed lack of choice. Many restaurants closed but no one told us.
