I stayed at the Paradis with my 13yr old daughter who is autistic.

The room was excellent and very clean. The food was of the same standard as other hotels I have stayed at in Tunisia and there was a varied menu with something for all tastes.

The hotel staff were very friendly but the entertainment team were outstanding. They made us feel relaxed and happy and they made a special effort to make my daughter feel special. In two weeks she had changed from a girl who wouldn't even speak to anyone into a young lady who was dancing every night and full of confidence.

We are returning there in June and I only hope we have as much fun as last time. Excellent value, great entertainment and a friendly atmosphere.

The Hotel was too busy.

The food was good, nice not to see burgers etc., but the restaurant was like a canteen and there was always a rush for the tables, no air conditioning and very noisy. And if you were not early enough you had to sit at somebody else's used table as the Waiters did not clean the tables after use.

The bar and restaurant staff were abrupt to the point of rudeness but the evenings entertainment was good, and very impressive that the Bingo Caller could call the numbers out in 9 different languages.

Had numerous problems with the room and they weren't cleaned properly. We were just above the entertainment so we had to watch it or not sleep! Told the hotel about the problems in the room but the sink plunger and the toilet seat were not fixed before we left, not were the broken light bulbs changed and several other things not sorted.

Had to take taxis to Hammammet and Yasmine.

Would probably suit families with younger kids, but anyone else would not enjoy it. Although we made the best of it and had a couple of brilliant excursions, one a 2 day trip to the Sahara.

Hotel was too full.

Hotel was was clean, so much so there was lots of accidents, slipping etc.

Our room was kept clean but had a problem with ants, our toilet had no seat and our three yr old fell in it on the first day, complained three times and we got our seat two days before we left, shower needed pulling down and building again, my husband tried with a knife and first aid tape, I just knew it would come in handy one day!

Had no chance of getting near the pool, towels were left on beds night before, area around the pool needs looking at because it's far too slippy for young children.

Meals were ok, had same thing every night and it's a good job the kids liked pasta.

Staff were polite when they knew you were good tippers. be prepared to tip if you want good service, did'nt get any in the restaurant ie drinks with eve meal.

Children enjoyed the entertainment, but not for us I'm afraid.

Spent a week in the hotel during the last week in June, every area of the hotel was kept very clean at all times and cleaner came every day to the room.

Pool area was great although did have some trouble getting a sun lounger unless you were up and out there at a silly hour. Found the hotel staff very friendly and they would try to sort out any problems that you did have.

Location of the hotel wasnt too bad as short walk down the street to bars and there were always taxi's outside hotel to take you to Hammamet old town or yasmine. My 8 year old daughter did enjoy the disco's before main entertainment but the main shows were pretty bad and we tended to go out of the hotel most nights to escape it.

Found the price of alcohol in the hotel bars really good and often a lot cheaper than the local bars. Food in restaurant was quite good in most cases and the waiters were very good. Would definitly stay at the Paradis again if i were to return to Hammamet.

Would say hotel may be best for families with children under 11 as teenagers would despair at the entertainment.
