I was pretty disappointed with this hotel on the whole, only half the facilities were open in the May half term holidays, no kids club (one of the reasons we booked it!) no pool side bar and the lounge bar shut at midnight leaving you with no option but to use room service if you wanted another drink.
The pathways were very poorly lit and dangerously uneven, the pool was really cold.
The food was good, plenty of choice with freshly cooked omelettes and pancakes, rice and pasta usually available.
The rooms were clean but very dated, the handles were falling off of the outside shutter doors in both our room and our sons.
The toilet didn't work properly in our room and wasn't fixed till the day before we left when it leaked all over the bathroom floor.
The waiters were great, really friendly and a good tip on the first night ensured we our table was waiting for us with drinks at the ready the rest of the week.
Found the flies and wasps to be a big problem, especially at the beach BBQ but you can hardly blame the hotel for that!
Our rep informed us that this hotel is due for a complete refurbishment in November this year, it seriously needs it, I would only rate it as a 3* maximum right now and that is only because of the nicely furnished lobby / bar and restaurant areas.
Night time entertainment consisted of belly dancers, a snake charmer and a magic show which kept the kids entertained for an hour and a half.
The beach was beautiful, yes it was a pain having people in your face trying to sell you stuff all the time but we went expecting that and just walked away when a polite but firm "no thank you" wasn't heeded.
I went to this hotel with an open mind but still came away feeling a bit let down, defintely not what I expect from a Sheraton / Starwood resort.
Hopefully it will live up to it's 4* rating after it's refurb.

Mum and me have been to Tunisia about 6 times now and Sheraton is by far the best hotel we have stayed in.
The staff are excellent and the hotel itself fantastic.
Entertainment is reasonable. The service is exceptionable.
I would normally sleep into to about 12pm as I am out until the late hours and our room was always made up after this time. This is the first we ever have came across this. Normally if your not out of your room before 10am (even with the do Not Disturb sign Displayed) then it doesn't get made up that day.
We are definitely going back again next year and the only hotel we choose to stay in from now on is the Hotel Sheraton!!

A lovely friendly hotel that due to it's age is well due an overall !!!! What it lacks in a 4 star quality it tries to make up for in hospitality. If you are looking for 4 star don't go there.

Fantastic hotel with probably the best beach front in the area. Travelled with our three children (14, 12, 8) who all enjoyed the facilities enormously. Not a huge range of food but what there was was good. Three restaurants within the hotel plus numerous others just outside the main gate and Hammamet only a short taxi or bus ride away.
Would definately go back.
Would definately go back.
