My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 1 day on a bed and breakfast board basis. On arriving at the hotel we were surprised at how nice and spacious it looked inside. We were given a room on the 2nd floor facing the front of the hotel. The road is not too busy and there was not much noise.
The room was very clean and lives up to its name by having a green decor. The room had twin beds, a single bed, nice size balcony, cooker, TV with 1 or 2 english channels and phone in the bedroom. We had a nice size wardrobe with lots of space and the bathroom was very clean with bath and a good shower. We had to fiddle around with the taps to get the bath working.
Breakfast was good. The hotel served tea, coffee, cereals, eggs, breads, fruits, cold meats, salads, etc. Plenty of choice, but we did miss having fresh omlettes and pancakes which they usually cook in the hotels on request. We didn't have dinner at the hotel so I cannot comment on this.
The pool is very small and faces the back of the hotel. There was no entertainment at the hotel on the night we stayed there, but there is much to do and we chose to stroll to the marina and walk around the resort instead, we also took a louage to the main resort of hammamet. There were lists of activities such as water sports, quad biking and other things that the hotel had organised but we only stayed one night so never got to participate in any of these.
For disabled wheelchair users there is no ramp at the entrance and a few steps to get to the reception of the hotel. Once inside there are lifts that can take you to your room and everything else is on flat ground. I think there are also a few steps to go outside to the pool area as well.
The quality of this hotel is very good and we were surprised that it only had 3 stars as we have stayed in hotels in sousse and kantaoui that have had more stars and less quality. We would definetely return to this hotel as it is in a good location and is very clean. The staff were all polite and pleasant and we wished we could have stayed at this hotel for at least one week.

Hotel cleanliness : Rooms are very basic, Floor was rotten even after cleaners had been in! even had ants in the hotel room, Rest of the hotel was very clean.
Hotel Food : If i had a choice not to rate the food I wouldnt have even give it a 1. Food was disguisting wouldnt even look twice at it and wouldnt even try it.
Entertainment : I Don't even think they had any as every night was bingo followed by a basic show which lasted 20 minutes! Music was also rubbish!

Round mentioned that there were no ramps for wheelchair users but this is not true as there are 2 at the entrance on either side of the stairs and also 1 near the pool area.

We were really pleased with the Green Golf. The food is basic but definately edible and our rooms were all nice and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The pool is a good size and there are plenty of sunbeds. Entertainment does revolve around bingo but we were not relying on that to keep us occupied so didn't really mind. I would really recommend the Camel Ride organised by the hotel. We got to ride camels and horses for about 2 hours and stopped off at a "bedoin" house where we were made to dress up and dance!
Overall if you are looking for a reasonably priced/cheap holiday then I would definately recommend the Green Golf as it is good value for money. If you are looking for a 5* hotel there are plenty of others in the area.
