Just returned from this Hotel last week and we had a brilliant time. The hotel was spotless and was set in lovely surroundings. The room that we had was huge and even though it could have done with being updated slightly it was spotlessly clean and over looked the beach. There was a maid service daily and they ensured that the room was cleaned and fresh towels, shampoo and shower gel was provided every day. They also made some very interesting shapes with the towels!!!!!
All the staff in the hotel were accommodating and polite and every single person who passed you inside and outside the hotel made the effort to say hello. The area around the pool is lovely and the swim up bar was an added bonus. My one complaint here is that the swimming pool was very cold and not for the faint hearted! However once you were in there, it was quite a nice way to cool off.
The evening entertainment was not up to much; however this was forgivable as the Animation team were a really nice bunch of people and provided lots of fun activities during the day such as archery, water polo and some very amusing games of musical chairs! They invited people to join in the activities but I didn't feel pestered like I have in some other hotels.
The food was varied and you have the option to visits the sister hotels to sample their menus. The Mexican night was very nice but the Chinese food wasn't very nice and I wouldn't recommend this. Every night there was a variety of meat and fish and a vegetarian option. But the best part was the puddings, they were amazing and there were a large variety to choose from. I would strongly recommend the ice cream.
I am not sure that I would be keen to return to Tunisia but if you are going to visit I would strongly recommend the Iberostar Averroes.

This was the first time we had been All Inclusive so was I was a bit worried. There was no need, as the food was excellent and there was plenty to choose from. At breakfast the omelettes were lovely as was the pancakes. So much to choose from at lunch and dinner the fresh muscles were my favourite. The Italian al a carte was also well worth a visit.
The hotel room was spacious and very clean and the toilet was separate from the bathroom. We did have to change rooms on the 1st day as the air con wasn't working but this was not a problem.
The staff were excellent from reception to waiters and cleaners to animation team. We had the best time and will definitely be going back.

1st time all inclusive thouroughly enjoyed it,rooms big with sea view, slight signs of wear and tear but still worth 4 star.
Food excellent, star turn is lady who cooks fresh eggs every morning to your taste.
Pool big and clean, agree with previous comment about early rise for good spot.
Only down side for me was beach, last time in Tunisia beach was cleaned every morning, maybe they have given up, as tourists drop everything at their backsides.Sea sometimes looked as if an oil slick was coming in, due to seaweed and algae.
All in all would go back no problem, but they do need to stop the rot/decline in furnishings

Whatever the brochure says about this hotel is spot on, so what about what isn't in the brochure.
For openers if your are a Roast Beef and 3 veg, sausage, bacon and egg or a McDonalds person, this ain't the hotel for you!!!
This hotels supplies one of the best ranges of cuisine my wife and I have come across. With guests from the UK, Germany, Ireland Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Russia, etc., but with probably the largest group coming from France, not only is the choice wide, but also very well prepared and presented, as you would expect from a former French Protectoret.
Location of the hotel at the southern end of Yasmine Hammamet, smack on the beach, a nice 30 min stroll from the marina, as well as the Medina. This is the local purpose built bazzar, and you have got to give it a try. It is a designed to play up the "haggling" bit, and if you go in the you have to play the game. If you don't want to join in, then don't go.
Personally, me and the Boss spent our time lolling around the super pool, incidentally beach towels are provided by the hotel, although I am sad to say you do have to participate in the Dawn Patrol if you want both sunbeds and a brolly.
If you like to phone home, then don't bother with your mobile use the local 'Taxiphone'. I dinar (50p) to call the UK for 1 minute (Min charge 1.50td). Nearest taxiphone? On the roundabout outside the hotel, to the left of the Palmers gift shop.
For those sily momentos, fridge magnets, ashtrays, etc, thsi gift shop as just what you need. It is a 'fixed price' shop so whatever it says on the price tag is what you pay, and in most cases that is peanuts.
Hotel staff? Fabulous, although on or two of the drinks waiters do, the odd time, somehow always finish up serving the female guests first!!!! Waiters in the buffet. Spot on. Play your cards right, and at your first lunch or evening meal, find a table you like, that does'nt have a bottle of water and/or other drinks on it, sit down, order your drinks, wine, water, etc, indulge in a small coin transaction and next time you dine and that table will have you drinks order on it. Thats how it went for us!
This restaurant has a special Italian Room and you m,ust give it a try if Italian is for you. It is fully waiter service, doesn't cost a penny as it is allin the price (assumming that you are All Inclusive) and it is just the thing if you have a bit of a special thing to celebrate, and even if you haven't for that matter.
A great hotel, and a great location, with super food and staff. Sure you will enjoy it. We did

Stayed here in June for 2 weeks. I booked flights via Expedia from Heathrow to Tunis. The transfer is around 40 mins from Tunis Airport. I think Monistar airport is further away. The cost of the transfer/taxi was

This has to be the best hotel I have stayed in. The room was huge and the beds are comfotable. TV in room only has one english channel, but never watched it anyway, hairdryer in bathroom was a nice touch.
The food was lovely and lots of choice, desserts to die for. You are given a table the fist time you arrive in the restaurant and this will be yours for your entire stay, so it doesn't matter what time you turn up for dinner, you always have a table and good food.
The pool is really nice and clean, it has a lazy river and swim up bar. The beach is so close to the pool you can hear the waves as you sunbathe and drink at the pool bar...lovely.
The hotel has a massage and suana spa. very nice.
The best bit about the hotel was the fact that it wasn't full of louts or screaming kids. I had a very relaxing week and plan on returning again soon.

Pleasant hotel. Staff couldnt do enough for you . The reception staff were a little unhelpful.
Swin up bar was fantastic as was the pool area. The entertainment in the evening was non-existant but we found a bar across the road with live music.
Rooms were huge with seperate wc.
Food was repetitive but very nice.
Would go again as it was a bargain price.
