Need not have worried, it was great!

After reading some reviews was a bit worried about staying in this hotel, but what a surprise it was spotless, rooms and bathrooms large and well equipped.

The food was delicious, Mexican restaurant especially nice, staff were always pleasant and courteous and very eager to please.

The location is excellent 15mins from airport, great after a 4hr40min flight, entertainment was just starting up but not bothered much with that just wanted to relax and chill out and this was the perfect place to do it, we will definitely be back.

We arrived at this hotel in the middle of the night and first impressions were good even at night.
The whole place was set in mood lighting.
Glass lifts and plenty of them 9 in total, No stairs which I found weird only hidden fire escape ones and one set of esculators at the very end from floor level to level 1.
The room was quite big enough for the 4 of us. The beds were very clean and firm. We asked for more pillows as only had the 4 and they were in our room within 10 mins.
The room was very clean and had all clean towels, clean sheets, shower gel, shampoo, pens, tissues, very well equipt. Rooms cleaned every day and clean towels sheets and fresh water and coke etc put in the fridge. ( the maids were very good as our son was in bed till one ( he has teenageitis ) and they kept coming back until it got done even late on into tea time not that he was in bed then as he would have had me to contend with as well as the maids.
We found a quiet pool a noisy pool. We sat at the quiet pool as the other one had the slides and all the things going on like volley ball dancng and they were forever trying to get you up for things which is not what everyone wants also the music was very loud all the time.
No fighting for sunbeds though even at 10 am there were some to be found or the pool guys would get you some if you asked ( sunbeds very uncomfortable though ). Plenty of parasols too.
The food was good and even better at the beach bar for the kids as there were good pizzas as well as chips and jackets pototoes which were great and also salads and chicken etc for the adults. They ofetn came around with iced coffe and ice cream or mango juice and ice cream for free.
All bars had a good selection of drink alcoholic or not. They do a free equivalent of baileys which was nice and all the usual for the kids, coke, sprite, fanta, cherry, orange etc.
The pool bar shut at 5 which was a shame as we stayed out till 6 in the sun when it was cooler.
In the lobby they do tea coffee etc all the time but at 12-5 they do cakes and some of them were like proper chocolte cakes and buns with cream, after that 5-6 it was buns a bit like devonshire buns without the cream.
There was a wide selection of food salads, chicken, beef, lamb and veg etc. Ice cream all evening meal time served free, lovely ice cream, as well as cakes fruit etc the cherries and oranges were gorgeous.
There is 3 a la carte resurants mexican, mediterainian and far east.
We went to the far east and the mexican and I must say they were both outstanding both on atmosphere, service and meals.
They are all 5 course and are free once per week per stay.
All the dishes from sushi to peking duck were amazing, free flowing alcohol again and the best bit the sweet at the far east you must try the deep fried ice cream YUMMM!!!!
The beach was good and plenty of sunbeds there too, beware the sand is very hot especially for small kids. Beach is very bust and all the hotels along it have their own bits but it runs quite long and you can walk along and look at the other hotels like the titanic which is amazing and looks like a ship as well as the concorde which surprise looks like a plane, amazing.
SHOPPING!!
We went into lara to the Shemall, what a waste of time. The bus was 20 mins to get there and it was a very posh shopping centre ( no fakes here) all very expensive ( dearer than home).
We went along to the shops close and to be honest they seem expensive but the way of the world I think they were ok about

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and at first the hotel did seem a bit on the dark side as the floor is all glass with lights underneath and it takes a while for your eyes to adjust. We got checked in very quick and luggage taken to our room, the only thing wrong with that was they did not tell you that the lights on the corriders were out and the numbers for the rooms were not on the doors they were on the floor and for soom reason there were no lights on at the time of morning we arrived so had difficulty in finding room, but after that it was ok. the rooms were quite large and the fridge in the room was very good and was refilled each morning with water and juice. Rooms were kept very clean and bedding spotless.

we arrived at night and although it was dark it had a very nice feeling with different coloured lights. immediately we loved it.

Rooms were cleaned everyday and all fully equipped with hairdryer, safe, drinks, towels etc. just as it says on the website and brochure

Location was beautiful, was able to look at other hotels around us, such as the concorde and ship. had very nice provate beach, although didnt sit on the beach as dont particulary like it, but was still always busy. we took it in turns to sit by busy and quiet pool as we didnt like being harressed all the time.

Food was pretty good as there was always something different to eat. although sometimes it was difficult to know what to put with what.

staff were friendly

would definately visit again

The hotel was beautiful, 3 great pools, one with slides for kids, one quiet one, and one in the middle. Great choice of food at all meals. I found the staff to be very rude and not interested in guests from UK. All of the entertainment was geared to guests from Russia, other Baltic Countries, and Germany, There were only 2 other families from UK when we were there. No ice cream during the day for kids, no pool side bars, no waiters coming around the pool asking if you wanted drinks etc. The service was pretty awful too, Baltic guests had no concept of the queing system, they just jumped in front of everyone. By the 2nd day I had had enough and started to challenge them on it, but it made no difference. This was a very busy hotel, but you didn't have to get up in the middle of the night for a sun-bed, there were 3 large pools, extensive grounds and a private beach, so plenty of space to sunbathe.
The hotel did have it's own nightclub and outside disco at night, but nothing to write home about.
