When I arrived at the Club Asteria hotel we were welcomed with cocktails and the hotel environment seemed very relaxed. After we signed in and were given our room number and key we went up to our room and left all our bags with the luggage men who kindly brought our suitcases to our room for us which was a big help! Our hotel rooms were cleaned daily and was done to high standards.

The food was absolutely brilliant! It was to the highest possible standards and if you ever felt hungry there would not be a shortage of it being served.

The hotel location was lovely and peaceful as it is right on the beach! The hotel staff were lovely and very friendly.

The animation team were brilliant, friendly and very easy to become friends with and I definitely had my favourites! The entertainment was endless so you never got bored. During the day there was plenty to do for the children as there was a mini club and also a teenager club which was excellent but I choose not to go as I prefer sunbathing. Then at night there was a disco down at the pool bar which was brilliant and as soon as the animation team turned up the dance floor would be jammed!

I would absolutely visit this hotel again as it is friendly, clean and overall a fantastic place to visit! I recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking to have an amazing holiday!!!

Great Hotel over all in beautiful settings, pine trees, palm trees, well tended flower beds etc. Tortoises wandering around which was nice.

All the villas were low rise, I think with a maximum of two floors so when viewed from the beach you can't see any of the accommodation which we thought was nice.

The food was tasty and well cooked and I have only given a 4 star rating as I have had better food elsewhere although you certainly couldn't fault the amount or the variety, pancakes/flat breads, waffles, popcorn, candy floss, jacket spuds, biscuits and cakes and this was as well as the main meals! We had one evening in the Italian restaurant which was delicious. Not, as we expected, just brought in from the main restaurant. Didn't hear any comments about the Chinese or the Turkish but if the Italian was anything to go by the food would have been good there too.

My 4 star rating on cleanliness is only because we felt our room wasn't getting cleaned as well as it could, don't think they were cleaning the bath, but the actual hotel grounds and public areas were spotless. My son aged 4 thought the "bum hole cleaner" in the toilets was ace!

We travelled in to Kadriye a couple of times by bus which was really simple to catch at the main gates of the hotel and which ran every 20 minutes or so into the town and came back all day up until 11, this costs about 50 cents per journey, the tractor bus is particularly good fun.
We also went to Antayla on a Thomson organised tour but were very disappointed as we didn't get to see much of the town so can't really comment.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

The entertainment staff are excellent and on the go almost 24 hours a day. We thought some of the shows were great, some great dancing and a fun club dance to learn. I think the kids clubs were good as well even though our children didn't use them.

The swimming pools are lovely especially the one near the beach which gets a nice breeze. The slides in the main pool were popular too and run at certain times during the day, don't think there were any height restrictions either as my 4 year old had no problems going on.

Other little things:

Pool towels can be changed every day,
Hairdryer in room quite powerful but very hot
Air conditioning in rooms was only on at certain times of the day whilst we were there although we did persuade them to put it on in the late afternoon early evening for when we were getting ready.
Kids drinks available for them to get themselves.
Bottles of water available from the bars instead of returning to the water coolers time and time again.
Drinks in fridges replaced every three days - water, sparkling water, coke and fanta all 2 litre bottles.

All in all a brilliant holiday was had by all of us and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending this accommodation to anyone. We may even return one day!

just returned after a week and had a great time.

The bedroom was well equipped although the only English channels on the TV were eurosport and news, but who needs a TV.

The food was wonderful, at lunch and dinner there were always 3 chefs cooking specials as well as all the other choices, food was always available somewhere on site.

Everywhere was spotlessly clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Club Asteria.

The rooms are quite basic but adequate - air conditioning very good. The room maids do a very good job and it is nice to get a three day weather report - fridge is well stocked with coke, fanta and bottled water.

The staff were very friendly - it does help to tip as you seem to get served quicker. The restaurant food is excellent - freshly cooked infront of you. On a Sunday all the lights go out in the Restaurant and 8 chefs come out of the kitchen with huge baked alaska on their shoulders which are lit and parade around the restaurant.

The animation team work hard to provide entertainment and there is always something to do. The evening shows are not of the greatest standards but the children seem to like them and that's the main thing.

Hotel is a little remote it is situation the last of a long line of hotels but the local town is only a cheap taxi ride or an even cheaper dolmus.

The Spa is beautiful - and the prices are quite reasonable - I paid Eur110 for 5 fully body massages which were fantastic. The only down side is that the marketing is a little pushy.

We have just returned home from the Asteria & I have to say we all overall enjoyed it here.

The hotel maids were excellent in doing the rooms with great little touches like leaving Turkish delight and weather reports for the next few days. Around the site was kept very clean also.

The pools were fantastic too.

The only downside I can have with the complex was the restaurant was extremely hot, especially in the evening. Try and get an outside table if you can. Also the breakfast can become a bit boring by the 2nd week.

Overall though we had a great time and you will enjoy it here. One tip for you don't forget your shoes for the beach as the sand is very very hot.

Cheers

Hotel Club Asteria is a beautiful, relaxing hotel. My friends and I had a two week holiday here.

The food is lovely, the weather is very hot so take a mini fan or two!! and batteries.

The hotel was very clean and tidy.

The staff were friendly. however because the location is not great (it is only near local town Kadriye reached by short dolmus(bus) ride. The town was pleasant....like the hotel, we recommend it to families with small children and couples.

If you are young and single between the ages of 15-30 then yo may not find this hotel adequate for your needs. There is no local bars or clubs the only nightlife is the entertainment (for kids and families) and the small disco they have at the hotel. The disco is rather like a little kid's birthday party scene, (eg, older people dancing, little kids running around) and samey childish if not receptive music! being played!

In the day you can relax and sunbathe amongst many Germans and Russians.... in the night single/young people would like something enjoyable and entertaining and fun to do, like go to local bars, see the real Turkish culture, meet new people and socialise amongst different people. That's just NOT possible in Club Asteria as Antalya is an hour away and it's just not practical to get there every night! its probably best to stay at a hotel with a better more convenient location if you are single/young because then you can experience the real Turkey and have a laugh in the great clubs!

Fantastic for families, small kids, couples requiring a laid back, relaxing holiday.........not really any one else, teens would very easily get bored!

Great Hotel, right on the beach. The buffet was typical of most all inclusive Hotels, we tried the Chinese and the Turkish al la carte and they were excellant.

All the staff were first class and very helpful. A hotel that I would visit again for sure.

Returned to the club Asteria just as we said we would two years ago.

The hotel is still very clean and tidy the staff are great, the language barrier is not as bad this year as more Brits are now going to the area so the management have recruited staff from Marmaris.

I have stayed in many all inclusive hotels in many countries, this one takes some beating.

The complex is like a tropical paradise and kept very clean.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, tip a waiter around the bar on your first night and you will never have to move from your seat all week to queue for a drink.

Entertainment quite good seeing as they had to please many different nationalities. The food and snacks are excellent.

I would recommend the Asteria without hesitation. Do not take lira, take euro.

Whilst the hotel food was most definitly not 4/5 star the rest of the holiday was.

They had a bus that went in to Belek that was pulled by a tractor which was brilliant you could just sit down and there was a wonderful breeze as it was moving along.
