A brand new hotel opened in May 07. Showing wear and tear already and only 2 months old.!! Far too compact an hotel for the number of guests, plenty of sunbeds but too close together - no privacy from your neighbour and unable to move them as so tighly packed together.
Food very bland, repetitive and lukewarm, drinks were excellent though.
Beach 600 meters away over a busy road but they are in process of building a bridge over road.
Rooms noisy, you can hear noise from inside hotel, disco and traffic noise. Cleanliness average - bathroom floor wasn't mopped in 2 weeks. Entertainment was dire at best. Many bars not up and running yet.
Advertised ice skating not available - trouble freezing the ice and the smell from -1 floor where shopping, billiards, bowling, spa is etc was horrendous.
Maybe in a few years this will be a good hotel but for now they need to take some lessons from the 5star hotels on Lara beach.
