Firstly I want to tell you that we have already booked to return to the Club Pacific next year! Its fantastic!
We arrived in the early hours of the morning, after a night flight, and just crashed out. When we woke up and looked out onto the balcony the view was terrific, you can see the beach from almost every room, and what a beach to see! The rooms are fine for what you need, and its really handy having a fridge, its kept topped up with a bottle of water too.
The pool was really clean, opening hours are 8am to 8pm for the pool. We could get a sunbed everyday, even if we didnt stroll to the pool until mid day!!
The security at the hotel is brilliant too, I wandered down onto the beach quite late and the guard didnt let me out of his site, I felt so safe.
The food was good, lots of salad, bread, pasta to go with the hot menu which varied daily. We are all quite fussy eaters and there was plenty to choose from, my younger sister was pleased to see chips at the beach bar most lunchtimes!
The beach was lovely, never crowded and the sea is so warm! In either direction at the beach (about 5 mins walk) there are water sports- parasailing, banana boats, jet ski, and ringos.
The weather was fantastic, not a cloud seen for 2 whole weeks! Though it does get chilly in the evenings. Didnt see any mosquitos or bugs.
The entertainment was cheesy with a capital C, but fun to join in, especially if you make friends with the animation team. The animation team hang out at the pool or the beach during the day and tempt you with games like volleyball, boules, darts and water polo.
The beach disco was great fun, but we were usually the only ones there with the animation team. You have to pay extra for the drinks at the disco, try the cocktails-fabulous! The DJ will play your CDs if you take them along too!

My friends and I stayed at the Paphessia Hotel in Side on an all inclusive package with Cosmos. We arrived early hours of the morning to be greeted by friendly staff who took our cases to our rooms.
After having a comfortable night in a lovely clean air conditioned room, we were greeted outside by lovely views.
We had a maid daily who cleaned the rooms and arranged our Night clothes in to shapes of flowers which we all loved.
Fresh bottled water was put in our fridge daily.
The food was excellent and plentiful with adorable waiters who loved the children.
The chefs and all the staff could not have done any more to make this a great holiday.
There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool and beach
The enterainment needs updating as they appeal to the German humour but the staff are great and can speak most languages. This hotel is a 1st class holiday!
We cannot wait to go back

We love this hotel. It doesn't have the immediate 'wow' factor of a plush 5 star hotel. In fact when we arrived at 2 a.m. hot and tired, we were impressed with the pleasant reception area, but a litte dissapointed with our room. It was smaller than it looked in the brochure (most rooms are). When we saw the fantastic view from the balcony in the morning, we changed our minds. Rooms are basic, well equiped and clean, and nearly all have a sea view. No rooms have a bath though - just a shower. The whole place was always kept clean.
The main charm of this hotel is that it's quite small for an all inclusive (130 rooms), and the staff are so friendly. The manager is very approachable, and is always mingling with the guests (eating in the restaurant etc). There were quite alot of Turkish people holidaying here, which is a good sign. There were also German and Russian guests, but staff all speak a bit of English, to varying degrees. This is the first year that brits have been able to go - there were quite alot of us there, and we did feel very welcome.
Entertainment was always in all four languages. The animation team were incredibly enthusiastic and friendly. The kids loved the mini disco and show every night. There is also a beach disco from 11.30pm to 02.00 am.
The food was all buffet style. There was a pretty good selection of hot food, salads, breads, deserts etc. It did get a little monotonous. We did hear a few people moaning about the food, but we quite enjoyed it. Not the most gourmet food we've ever eaten, but our fussy nine and six year olds never went hungry. From 12 till 3, you can eat outside at the beach bar, more limited choice, but lovely right by the sea. Here there was a lady cooking pancakes to order. She was consideralby more friendly if you slipped her a few lira (the only person this applied to). The staff were lovely, particulary Omar and Nuri.
Drinks were ok, brand name soft drinks (Fanta, Coke, Sprite etc), the wine (help yourself from a barrel) was a bit rough, you couldn't drink it all night. The beer was Efes, and the local spirits were ok. The bar got a little hot smelly and crowded in the evenings, but they've got big plans for changes next year (an extra pool etc).
The pools were clean, and the sunbed situation varied. In the first week you could get beds as late as 10ish, but in our second week, they all went by 8.30ish. The sunbeds were a bit packed together, it's not a hugely spacious area. The sandy beach was lovely, you could always get a sunbed, and it never seemed busy. From the beach you could see the 5 star hotels on either side but Club Pacific looked much prettier and greener.
The one negative thing we have to say is about air conditioning. It only comes on for a few hours each day. Our room in August was boiling at night when the air-con went off at 1.00 a.m. - very frustrating. They did give us a fan though which helped to drown the noise of the disco. Also, ice-cream and freshly squeezed orange juice were not included (in the all inclusive deal).
All in all we had a great time here, as did other guests (with the inevitable exception of one or two). It is particulary great if you have kids - it's small enough to give them free reign, and they had a fantastic time. (People there without kids did enjoy it as well). There is a very friendly atmosphere - thouroughly recomended.

Arrived in the early hours of Monday morning to a very slow check in. Next morning woke up and wow what a fantastic view. Lovely pool and a pretty stroll down to the beach which was never crowded and the sea was so warm. My children spend the day generally by the warm pool and playing forever on the water slides. Food was pretty good and we would not hesitate to go back. The rooms although small were very clean and had lovely balconies. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the entertainment was good for children.
