We arrived at the Sun City at around 5am. We were shown to our 2nd floor apt & were delighted that it was extremely clean, spacious & well equipped.
We had chosen a one bedroomed, rather than a studio, so had a separate bedroom, then a large lounge with sofa, table & chairs plus kitchenette with breakfast bar, fridge, basic cooking facilities, pots & pans etc.
The bathroom had a shower, sink, wc & was clean & modern. There was ample storage space for clothes etc.
The pool as usual was the focal point, plenty of sunbeds & friendly staff.
There was entertainment on a couple of nights, & on others the staff made it up as they went along & we always had a good laugh. Drinks we thought were reasonably priced. There is a masseur on site & a photographer, who was around the pool taking photos both day & evening which were later displayed for you to buy.
We did not feel pressure to do so though. Food was available from the pool bar during the day, and night the tables were properly laid out for evening meals with a full menu, also specials each night i.e. a set menu of soup, main course & dessert but I cannot remember the prices. The snacks we had a lunchtime were good, but we always went out at night. Freshly squeezed orange juice ( squeezed whilst you watched) was very welcome during the day. There were two 'happy hours' each day, one at 5pm & another at 10pm when cocktails were half price, & other drinks were '2 for 1'.
There was a small minimarket on site, which sold, well, just about everything really! We realised we needed to get up early for a trip, & bought a travel alarm clock there for two quid! The eggs & bread bought first thing in the morning were beautifully fresh so we made our own breakfast & ate out on the balcony.
I would stay at these apartments again & certainly recommend them.
