Sezgin apartotel is a 2 storey block of 6 apartments in the traditional Ula mugla style used extensively throughout Akyaka.
It is situated 2 minutes if that from the beach and restaurants but in a quiet residential street so it is very peaceful at night.
The block of apartments shares a small swimming pool with a few sun beds at the side. The pool and surround is very clean and well looked after.
The apartments themselves are air conditioned (Living room only). We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment these are in the centre with the 4 one bedroomed apartments on each corner. The apartment had a spacious living room with 2 bed settees 2 easy chairs, a dining table and 4 chairs and and a wardrobe. There was a double bedroom which was quite small. The bed was against the wall and there was a small cabinet and mirror and a further twin bedroom with cabinet (the only wardrobe is the one in the living area.) Kitchen was very clean with a new fridge (no noisy old one to keep you awake at night) Lots of cooking equipment and a 4 burner hob. The only thing not supplied that we could have done with were wine glasses (only tumblers supplied) and coffee cups. There were Turkish coffee cups but these are the size of espresso cups Not much good. The bathroom although clean was a little tired looking (no shower tray or cubicle) there was a shower curtain though.
We stayed in the ground floor apartment and the balcony was directly opposite the access gate so not much privacy but it had a table and 3 chairs so we ate breakfast there in the morning.
The apartments were very quiet at night, although there are music bars just a minute or two away We were never bothered by any noise and this was a big plus with a youngster in tow.
We very much enjoyed staying at the Sezgin and hope to return there next year though we will probably prefer the upstairs apartment.
