This hotel looks great, even with the steep climb up the hill to get to it. Two swimming pools, a great view over the Bodrum bay and good-sized, clean rooms. I thought it was going to be a stress-free stay. However, as soon as I arrived and was warmly greeted with a "Hello, my friend!', I was quickly and very firmly told that I was to bring nothing! into the hotel from outside. This included water. They want you to use their "market", which is poorly equipped and has only the basics. If you hope to find healthy things to eat or snack on, you'll have to smuggle it in! I saw this happen outside the hotel - guests cramming forbidden items into their backpacks to sneak in. I am also guilty of doing this. Plus, they want euros and they charge in euros, not Turkish lira at the market and the bar. It was a kind of police state. The hotel caters to couples or more so, if you're single, don't be suprised to be ignored in the dining room. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, it's a quiet spot and there is free Internet access.

The apartments are by far the best self catering apartments we've been to in Europe. The view across Bodrum bay is amazing and can be enjoyed from the roof top bar (which is child free!)
There is a steep hill up to the apartments which would rule it out for people with walking difficulties or those who may have to carry tired children, or drunken adults.
The small pool is very deep so it's worth watching the kids. The large pool was always freezing but in the Turkish heat that was usually quite welcome.
There was no entertainment as such however there was always plenty going on either at the apartments or in Bodrum.
The staff were all very nice and most speak good English
We've been twice and wouldn't hesitate to go back
