We stayed here for 1 week all inclusive, what a joke! We ate here once, the food was disgusting and cold more for germans.No entertainment, no kids club as stated on their website and only 1 of the 4 resturants open which you have to make a booking for and can only use once during your stay.

We had 3 people sharing our room and were only given 2 towels all week, when we asked about it they took another 2 days to bring a 3rd towel. Not reccommended and Ive been to gumbet 7 times in 3 years.

Staff rude and unhelpful and drinks are in tiny plastic cups even a beer!

We stayed at this hotel on an All Inclusive basis and wish we hadn't. The food was awful! Food served for lunch was served cold at tea so we were eating left overs! When we realised this we didnt eat any meals at the hotel again. The food we did eat was poor quality and was never hot. The restaurant was like eating in a 'pats cafe' or a holiday 'camp'. Our group were young and the waiters did nothing but hassle us to 'go out' with them. We all felt really un-easy with this as they wouldnt take NO for an answer. We had to sneak about and if we were seen they would question us, we all felt very uncomfortable.

Some staff were friendly and would try there best to please you. All spoke very good English.

The All Inclusive drinks were a joke. If you went to one bar you were told it was shut and to go to another. There were no times displayed as to say what bars were open at what times.

The location was good, just 20 minute walk into Gumbet centre and a short bus ride to Bodrum. The buses go every 10 minutes. Be prepared to be pestered constantly when in Gumbet and Bodrum. People using every trick in the book and every chat up line to get you into their bar, restaurant or shop. You cant look at anything without getting hassled!

As for the so called entertainment....all I can say is that I would rather watch paint dry! It was so un-organised and very poor quality.

If you are looking for peace and quite do not stay here! Music goes on till 12am ish then the other surrounding hotels bang their music up!

The hotel was mis-represented by First Choice. The rooms were not stylish and up to date and not more then one person could sit on the balcony. They changed our rooms after one hour because my partner used the toilet and nearly threw up from the smell.

Also, this hotel could only be booked over the internet as it does not appear in any brochures. The picture does not show any other hotels closer to it but in fact there are other one's either side. Once the noise of the speakers were turned off from the Rexenne either of the other two turned their's on. This was from 10 am to well past midnight. And the entertainment team were well OTT. If everyone were adults it would have been acceptable, it was very crude.

The food was never hot as the burners were allowed to run out and never re-lit over the time that breakfast,lunch or dinner took place.

Both my daughters became ill within days of each other, one with an ear infection and the other with gastro enteritus, which was most distressing as we were on a day out. Both were placed on a drip and the youngest was taken in as an emergency. She had three drips, needles put into three different places and then collapsed again when we were told she was OK to leave. They then said she had to stay in over night and I returned to the hotel just after 3.00 am after spending already seven hours with her.

The accommodation is badly in need of repair and we never saw the pool being checked out. The water was always murky and the guttering around it was black with dirt and hair. There is also not enough sun beds to go around and most of these are taken by 6.30 am and the one's that are left need repair, like most of the others do. A memeber of staff's child was allowed to enter the small pool with her nappy on and it clearly states on the pool board that this is not allowed.

I complained after two days about the hotel and the rep told me that nothing else was available and that to fly home the next weekend would cost us

First impressions of the hotel was not great. We arrived early hours of the morning so everyone just wanted to get to their rooms and sleep. Check in was not too bad and to be fair the staff were very helpful and would not let us carry any luggage to our room.

Our hotel room was the furthest away from the swimming pool (even though i requested a pool view) and the balcony was so small we could not even fit a chair on it.

After 3 days of complaining to the hotel staff about our room we were finally moved. Our bathroom was constatly flooded and with a five year old this was not appropriate. We was first told that this was to do with the shower leaking but after they 'fixed' this there was no change. We was then told that it was to do with the air conditioning and not to use it anymore! This was not acceptable so we gave them the alternative of either moving us to a different room or hotel.

We was eventually moved to a different room facing the pool which was great. The room was very clean and shaded.

The food was not up to much which meant spending alot more money eating out. The drink was also basic an nothing interesting to offer.

All in all the holiday was not too bad and we did meet alot of friends there. Hi to Andy, Wendy and kids xxx

When we arrived it was in the early hours and the staff were very helpful and nice.

We had 2 rooms that were close together like requested and it was cleaned daily by a very friendly member of the cleaning staff.

The food was different every day and gave you a good choice of varied tastes even chips and pizza for the kids which is a god send when you have one very fussy 5 yr old.

The location of the resort was lovely and there is plenty to do both in and about the hotel

Mostly we enjoyed the entertainment, the animation team were brilliant and spent plenty of time making the kids enjoy themselves. They had plenty of activities for adult, teenagers and kids we can't wait to go back next year.

Hotel was probably fab in it's day but it is need of a refurbishment to say the least, as we stepped off the coach a guest waiting to leave said 'good luck' you will need it!!
The place is in need of a clean, the plates in the dining room were always smeared and chipped and sometimes still wet, the glasses always had lip stick on them, the food did not look apetising at all especially with flies on!!!
The main problem is the staff, they just want to muck about, especially the young waiters and pool staff, all they want to do is chat up young girls and show off. Alot of them were rude, especially the bar staff, unless you were young and attractive it took ages to get served.

We stayed at the All Inclusive resort for a quite week away.

Holiday from hell, rooms were disgusting.

Food well,I'm no cook but I would put the chefs to shame. Been to many 2,3,4,5, star hotels, but would not rate this a 1 star, never again.
