We have been to the Club Paloma Apartments in Gumbet for the last 4 years. Although we were not informed of the deposit and the Tom we just thought it was the normal thing.
We found the staff really friendly and had no problems at all.
I am in a wheelchair but took and electric scooter this year. I found it easily accessible to get everywhere in the town and even down to the beach.
Yes they do play loud music but if asked to turn it down after midnight it was.
Our apartment was facing the bar, the inspection at the end of the holiday was ok we only had 1 cleaner in our room to check that everything was in order.
We have thoroughly enjoyed all our holidays there and will be going back next year.
Yes the pool does close at 7pm for cleaning and only on a couple of occassions did someone jump in after that usually down to being thrown in by friends. It is a large pool with a baby seperated by railings.

We visited these Apartments Oct 2003, on arrival we were very surprised to be asked for a deposit on the room, which we were informed would be inspected on departure and the deposit returned providing nothing broken etc, something we had never before encountered in Turkey, next we were asked for a deposit on 'Tom' which turned out to be an electronic bracelet tag that we were informed was to be used like a pay as you go phone, whilst at the Apartments to pay for food and drinks etc, no money could be used at all, and if you didn't have credit in 'Tom' then no food or drinks would be served, by the time we had paid all the deposits etc,and put money in Tom we hadn't even reached the Apartment and had handed over more than
