Location
didnt try the food cos of bad reports before we went, but talked to people who did, and they were very ill with d and v.
i did e-mail the complex before we arrived to request a quiet room away from the noise of the pool and main bar area, so glad we did, the noise is horrendous,if you are between 18 and 30 no problem, the main bar is open until 3,4,5 in the morning pity the people who are near this.
the location of the complex is excellent, just get on the dolmus and u can go anywhere u like, we visited camel beach, icemeler in bodrum, went on a boat trip, had a turkish bath which was divine.
there is a problem with stray dogs, they are everywhere, dont feed them and u are ok, keep away from the rose sellers they are a pain.
best places to eat are windy bay, colombia and mistrals, u get a good steak meal, and a free bottle of wine which is very nice not like vinegar.
unfortunately turkey is not as cheap as it use to be, the turks are now jumping on the band wagon and charging what ever they like, which is a shame, turkey is a beautiful place, but it is very dear now.
we found a few quiet bars away from bar street, where a efes was 3 lira good value its called the millennium bar, try it u will feel most welcome from jay jay and the gang. bar street itself is very noisey.
if you are self catering like we was, go to bodrum fruit and veg market, its amazing what u can pick up its very cheap.
staff ok on the whole, but if u want a drink and your not young blonde female be prepared to wait for a drink in the bars, this wasnt a problem to me and my family, we just sat back and waited and laughed at the bar staff in the complex, it was funny., young girls get served first.
must mention the mattresses they are very hard, i asked for a softer mattress and got one within an hour, so its worth mentioning, it was like sleeping on a slab, but as i say was changed.
we didnt try the kids club, cos there was so much going on outside the complex, so i will not commnet.
did not stay in the complex for entertainment because there was so much going on outside, but saying that i beleive the the prices in the bars in the complex was very dear, and stay away from the supermarket in the complex the prices are very dear.
there was not much entertainment in the bars as such but we were happy with wot was on offer.
this sounds like a really negavtive review, butit is not, we had a great time in gumbet, and the turkish pple are lovely, but i am typing this, the way that is was, warts and all

The staff were very friendly and would do anything for you, our daughter is very shy and they made a special effort to make her welcome athough she struggled to understand the language.
For eating out we would recommend the windy bay, mistral, tempo, the parrot. The hotel itself is about 5 mins from the shingle beach which was poor, but the pools in the hotel made up for the beach but were very cold despite the weather being 35 to 40 degrees.
Entertainment in the hotel was good you should definately go to the barbeque night which is worth 10 pounds. Look out for the waiters Volkan and Apo our daughter loved them.
Transport into Bodrum - buses run very regular from outside the hotel they are orange and very cheap.
Never been to Turkey before. Overall we really enjoyed fun for families and singles alike.

The cleanliness was First Class. The cleaners were fabulous and you always felt very comfortable and welcome as the staff were very friendly.
I didnt eat in the restaurant but my family did once or twice and they loved it.
The entertainment was great for all ages from karaoke to snake charmers, BBQ'S and dancers. There were three pools all very clean and not too crowded and also a computer room with iternet which charge but at very low cost.
On the premises you have turkish mud baths and hairdressers ect and gumbet town and Bodrum was near by but would need to take a bus or taxi.
The saturday market is worth going to as its even cheaper than the shops even though the shops are extremely cheap. In gumbet or Bodrum its better to book day trips such as boat trips, market and swimming with dolphins than booking with the reps.
I would definately recommend the boat trip as you get to go to several places such as caves, camel beaches and swimming in the sea.
I recommend this holiday to people of all ages!!!! its the best!!! P.S try out the turkish mud bath; Its devine!!!!!

The food from the hotel is not recomended very poor be careful where you eat out if you find a particular place you like stick to it to be safe because I was ill after the second night for the rest of the week.
The cleanliness of the place was good the maid was lovely she left liffle notes and scattered flowers over the beds.
The location I thought was perfect 2 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes away from the night life. (which was amazing)
The hotel staff were quite cheeky they dont give you your change they put it in there tip box and they can be quite rude. Not all of them some of them.
We also found because we didnt take part in any of the hotels entertainment the organiser became funny with us.
