Although we new Yunis the hotel manager & most of the staff from previouse visits to other hotels,it was our first stay at the tropicana beach.We were made to feel like old friends returning home,& had a truly wonderfull time.The hotel was alwas immaculatly clean & well maintained,as were the gardens & beach.The food although a little basic was always well presented & tasty & served by good mannered,proffessional,& friendly staff.The location although a little out of towwn (5 mins walk) was picturesque with great views of the bay & town.The entertainment was was fun,interesting,& enjoyable,& never boring.Iwill deffinatly continue to return to the tropicana beach as often as possible

Just back from our first time to Gumbet and the Tropicana, we had a fabulous holiday and we owe a large part of that enjoyment down to the Tropicana manager, Yunis and his wonderful staff. If I had to sum it up I

this is one of the best hotels we have EVER stayed in - always super clean, great location but above all fabulous staff - everyone is made so welcome whatever age sex etc
we also loved gumbet - for us it ticked every box
would we go back - yes and we are in one weeks time - cant wait!!!
