Bustling at night, bit tacky during the day.
No hassling from shops, but a lot of cheap fakes up for grabs - try to find a shop that sells seconds or top-notch goods otherwise false economy.
Brilliant places to grab a meal, snack or drink - worth people watching in the evening.

kusadasi is a charming town, we loved it so i would highly recomend a visit.

we really liked kusadasi, the great choice of bars and eateries make it a city worth staying in.
There are plenty of places nearby to visit to [ephesus, soke, selcuk] all easily accessable by dolmus
We met some really cool folks who certainly knew the meaning of hospitality
I would highly recommend taking a dolmus to ladies beach [1.5tl each way] there are plenty of bars and the beach is clean. Long beach is a bit of let down though. a lot of the beach is divided up into the private areas for the hotels. Its a beach, and its long. It does exactly what is says on the tin
Market days are a revelation. Tourist tat on wednesday, food on friday. Really worth checking out. Will we go back to kusadasi?, were already planning it!

Loved Kusadasi, a shoppers paradise. Many restaurants, always friendly with plenty of advice about where to go. Very scenic area with lots of sea views. Visited regularly by many cruise ships.

We have been to Kusadasi many times over the years and love the resort - best of both worlds working town and also resort very cosmopolitan with the cruise ships coming in every day. Lovely beaches out of town 10 mins on bus far better than town beach. A truly wonderful place.

Stayed at Kusadasi. Usual turkish resort with plenty of bars and restaraunts in the town centre. Turkey is no longer "cheap as chips" and we were paying around 100 TL for a meal for 4 (2 Adults & 2 Children)
Entertainment was mainly bar staff dancing or "turkish night" on a Thursday. Not much cop to be honest.
Didn't use the beaches much but they appeared clean and tidy.
Would probably go back, but we preferred Icmeler.

Turkish BBQ night is good - 30 Turkish Lira for Adults and half price for kids and the following week it's half price for adults but same for kids. They said kids were already half price! The food and entertainment is very good and worth the money. Pay as you go for drinks as you'll probably get presented with a bill again next day and keep a note of exactly what you had from the bar.

The resort of Kusadasi is a 20 minute dolmus ride away, it has a lovely harbour and gets large cruise ships in. Very good shops and a great market, shop keepers and stall holders will try and encourage you in but accept a polite no.

The sourrounding area was very dirty and grubby. The footpaths were broken and hazardous and there were piles of rubble, broken benches and rubbish in some areas. In a word, unpleasant.
The entertainment was OK, but it got a bit repetitive in the second week because the same shows were repeated.
The beach itself was unspectacular, but the turquoise water was divine, and so deliciously warm.
I wouldn't visit this resort again because I don't like to go to the same place twice.
