Seaview worth the upgrade - best to email them on advance.
Family rooms are best further back from the beach as noisy animation area plays loud music at times.

Stayed in Kusadasi which was very picturesque and not what i was expecting at all, Kusadasi town was a minefield of shops, shops and more shops so great for all you shopaholics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only bad thing is that you do get pestered an awful lot when you pass their shops as it seems they are desperate for your custom, the best places to go are to the market in Kusadasi town which is on Wednesdays, they sell loads of genuine fake clothing at ridiculously cheap prices, also worth doing the shopaholics excursion if you're a brand name person as they stop at Nike, Adidas, wrangler etc.....outlets where things are cheaper than normal and the real thing not imitatations!
Mamma Mia's cafe in the town is a good place to eat and def place to visit is the port of Kusadasi where all the massive cruise liners stop at, so definitely worth a visit there, makes you see Titanic in a different light!
I’d recommend going to Kusadasi.

For good home grub try some of the boozers on "Ladies Beach" or "Harry’s Bar" in Centrum. If you do get to Harry's say hello to Brian, their Brit ex-Pat in residence, a nice guy and a wealth of local knowledge.
For local entertainment, the Marino Seafront is great and "Bar Street" is a must see.
In closing, Kusadasi is pushy and if Turkey joins the EU the rest of us should leave !

Bearing in mind that Kusadasi is a city along the lines of London. Cruise Ships visit most days. There are plenty of Bars and Restaurants providing entertaiment in the centrum. Beaches, we are not beach people but if you want a busy one, then go to Ladies Beach. For a quieter life then go to Long or Pygale Beaches. Although I have said that I would visit the Fortin Hotel again, in truth, Kusadasi is really too big for us(I apologise in advance for having offended anyone who doesn't share my opinion). We prefer smaller resorts. The people of whom we came into contact with could not be more friendly or helpful. We visited Guzelcamli one day and as we walked towards the beach past some residential houses a young couple sat in their garden having breakfast. A voice called to us and invited us to join them, which we did and had something to eat and some Turkish tea just to be sociable before going on our way. This is something that doesn't happen in the UK !!!!
The Restaurants we used and had good meals in all of them were The Filling Station, Toros, Avlu, Lezzet Evi, Aylin, Saray, Michael's Place and Kalyon. Of these The Filling Station was our favourite for excellence in service, food, hospitality and genuine friendliness to all their customers in a relaxed atmosphere. We ate here most days, some other resort guests ate here every day !!
Jewelers, the following provided the best service FULL(ask for Zafir or Eileen), ANASTASIA(ask for Tim) and NARSIS(they have three shops). ALL these shops were extremely helpful and didn't pressure you into making a purchase.

kusadasi itself is a very busy, bustling resort with ladies beach being a touch quieter.the restaurants in ladies beach were of a better quality and were less expensive than the ones in town.

The resort is quite clean and tidy, facilities were all you would expect.
The Beach is limited, the water is grey - carring a lot of silt and looks more like its the channel that the med.
The edge of the beaches are muddy and not very inviting, and there is a lot of seaweed carried in despite the best efforts of the beach attendants to rake it out.
The difference between the beach quality at Khusadasi and that of my last years holiday in egypt (Sharm) couldnt be greater, Sharm has the crystal clear water and beautiful white sand of a tropical postcard. Khusadasi doesnt.

There is varied night life in Kursadasi, locals prefer euro and try to get as much from tourists as possible. The main market in on a Wednesday and is very busy, most stalls repeat products but you can get bargains.
