Be aware when booking with Love Holidays. They are registered with ATOL and ABTA, but the third party they book your hotel with isn't. Should you have a problem with your hotel you are not protected as the contract is with the third party and not Love Holidays.
We discovered this, when the hotel we booked had closed down. We told Love Holidays but nothing was done. We had to book another hotel, which cost us quite a few hundred extra . We are unable to claim anything back, as the third party is not ABTA or ATOL registered. Love Holidays do not warn you about that.

We stayed at Club Blue Dreams from the 15th August, 2 adults, 4 children aged 13, 11, 11 & 8. We did a lot of research before we booked and we knew about the steps and the lack of beach. This wasn’t a problem to us at all. I can see that people with young children/buggies would struggle but if you do your research then you know what to expect. Some of the negative reviews really make me wonder what people want from a holiday. This hotel is in a beautiful setting, gorgeous views, the staff are so helpful and the whole hotel has a really relaxing, chilled atmosphere!
We asked for 2 rooms close to each other on a low level and got both! The rooms are fairly comfortable with a fridge, TV, good air conditioning, bathroom with bath, shower, hairdryer (not brilliant so take your own) and we both had a balcony. We had hot water every night. Our only negatives about the rooms were that the shower screen leaked and flooded the bathroom every night, we often only had 2 towels when it was obvious that there were 3 occupants in the room and the bed linen was a duvet cover? Instead of a sheet. Otherwise the rooms were fine.
The main pool was very nice, the first couple of days sun beds were aplenty and there were still some available at 9am but this didn’t last. Many people reserved them from about 6am which is a pain but if you want a sun bed what do you do. There were even a couple of arguments about beds! The pool was refreshingly cold and there were shady areas to sit in. The towel system was good and you could have a clean towel everyday if you wished. There were also 2 decked sunbathing areas which proved very popular. There is also an indoor pool and slide pool.
At this hotel there were plenty of bars to choose from. The main one was by the pool called Dream Bar and Murat was a brilliant bar man, spoke good English and nothing was too much trouble. He was great with the kids making them cocktails and arm wrestling with them! The tea garden area was also lovely (free Wi-Fi here!!) And a really relaxing place to sit. Another bar could also be found by the decked areas.
The food here is excellent. The main restaurant overlooks the bay and it was amazing to sit there every day by the sea with a lovely breeze coming in. The waiters work so hard. Ours had our drinks waiting for us every evening once he knew our preferences and was polite and chatty. Bottled water was provided on the tables which I thought was a good touch. Breakfast was the usual fruit, cereal, bread, salad. Everyday a chef cooked either pancakes, omelettes or fried eggs to order. Coffee was also good. Lunch and evening meals were similar. Plenty of lovely salads, soup, some cooked veg, rice, lots of different hot dishes, chicken and fish, chips, potatoes. There was always a chef show cooking (he did a gorgeous turkey stir fry at lunchtime that my partner loved) they also had a BBQ and pide/pizza oven. They had one themed Turkish evening. I never found it bland or tasteless and we tried lots of different things.
How anyone can say that the food isn’t good I just don’t know. Yes it’s repetitive but don’t you eat the same things every week at home?
The snack bar down by the beach was also good and did excellent pizza. We also tried the Chinese and Italian restaurants, both good.
The animation team were an interesting bunch. Most of the activities happened around the main pool but they did the same thing everyday. I think maybe they need to mix it up a bit. We didn’t watch any evening entertainment so I can’t comment but the kids enjoyed it.
We had a really relaxing holiday and would certainly recommend this hotel to family and friends. Of course there are some little niggles that we could moan about but they didn’t affect our holiday enjoyment at all. This was our second visit to Turkey and again we were not disappointed!
