I went to the hotel in May this year as the original hotel that I booked was not ready in time for our arrival. First night when I got there the receptionist had a look at me, did not bother to say even hi and put a form and a pen on the desk and kept on with what he was doing . When I finished the form he sorted out the room number and I was told that I have to pay extra if I want to use the safe in the room. When I got to the building that I was given some parts of wall were missing. The room was not too bad but most of the staff couldn't speak English so it was difficult to get help if you needed anything.

The food was disgusting ,mainly stew in different forms and it felt like hospital food, if by a miracle they would have simple grilled chicken and such you would have to stay in the queue for up to 20 minutes or so to be able to get some food. The drink situation was not any better. The wine was like vinegar and for simple drinks such as soft drinks, you guessed it, you had to queue up again. The morning was not any different either, for omelettes (they would run out ingredients pretty quick), soggy tasteless pancakes and ... yes, there was a queue and so on.

I went to the spa and paid for a package which they forgot my coffee massage and I was told next time when I come back they will give me a better deal and I could not have it as they had other guests booked for that time. When I went back to my room I had bruises on my back but at least they were nice and polite. I have to admit that my partner went for a haircut and they did a fantastic job (the only positive experience that we had). The last day prior to our departure I asked a member of staff on the reception to make a phone call for me if possible to confirm time of my departure with the airport transfer company (as I do not speak Turkish) and I was told that I could easily do so from comfort of my own room so they can charge me for the phone call before I leave.

The beachfront was complete disappointment. I have tried to get hold of the management of the hotel or even the chain that they are part of it for the last couple of months and as you can imagine no manager is ever available and no matter how many emails you send you will not get any reply at all.

Overall if you like to enjoy your holiday and get relaxed whilst you are away I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone at all, you will enjoy your holiday better even if you go to a self catering apartment rather than being in this hotel.

After checking the reviews on Trip Adviser, I thought we had picked the ideal holiday. We have stayed at various resorts in Turkey and Europe for countless summer holidays, so my review is based on a good selection of different hotels, this being the most expensive due to the class rating and being all inclusive. (I booked the flights with Thomas Cook, the transfers with Hotels4you, and the Hotel with Travel republic; this saved us

Going back this year

We stayed at the Majestic Tuana in Fethye booked this holiday from the Sunday mirror in January 2010 did not know what we were getting. We had a lovely time the hotel was clean the food was great and the staff never seemed to stop working.

I have read some of the reviews and really don't know what people expect. The pools were large and beautifully clean. We are going this year and have requested to be a bit nearer to the restaurant and facilities only because we are a bit older and we did not want to have to walk too far. As we don't now have young children we do not know what the facilities were like for the children. When we went in May the weather was just right not too hot. If you needed anything the staff were only to happy to help you.

We have booked with Thomson this year and had to book it very early last year to get it because people were coming back and booking straight away. The rooms were cleaned every day the towels changed every day there was tea coffee and drinks all day long. Really looking forward to going this year.

Well after seeing lots of good reviews on another site I thought we were going to be in for a very relaxing holiday.....
The approach road makes you wonder what sort of place your going to. We arrived in early hours of morning and were greted to a sight looking like a butlins style venue.
The jetty is the best part of the resort and all the watersports guys are great, really helpful and friendly and great with kids.
The pools are clean and have great self service bars as well as staffed parts. Even have staff coming round with cold towels, sunglass cleaning and cold water and beers - all free.
My main problem is the food. It is very repetative once you have spet a full day there - and lunch ad evening meal are very similar in the main restaurant. The a la carte menued restaurants you can visit as many times as you want - we went 5 times in 10 days but was served the same dish each time and it was a set menu.
The animation team were good as were most of the staff, curteous and friendly and not always pestering you.
The only final critisism is the amount of cockroaches seen in the outside section of the main restaurant!!!!
Overall I think it is a good complex if you can put up with some major food concerns.

We loved the place. We had had mixed reviews on Turkey and therefore had reservations about booking to go, we shouldn't have worried it was a fabulous location and the staff were great.

The food on the all inclusive basis was varied and plentiful along with the drinks (minibar in the room one fill only) which were as described, all local brands but of reasonable quality.

The animations team were good with organised activities and evening performances.

The location right on the beach was superb my only complaint was that the shows the animations team put on were not always child friendly and would be more suited to an adult audience.

All in all the experience was good and I would return to the same hotel.

The hotel was described as 5 star but I would rate it 4 star but don't let that put you off it was a great holiday and I would recommend it to anyone. Also the weather was great for the time of year.
