We went on a girls only, but with our kids too, holiday. It was our first try of Turkey but friends said it was great so what the heck. Anyway got a great deal with Portland and we were thrilled with our holiday.

We all loved the Babadan apartments and the staff were great, very friendly and good with the kids.

Its in a great position, nice strolling distance to everything and very clean if slightly lacking in storage space for clothes.

No entertainment as such but the bar was always open day and night and they kept you entertained.

If we wasn't the type of people who have to try somewhere different every time, then we would definitely go Icmeler and the Babadan again.

Just returned from 2 glorious weeks at the Babadan Apartments.

The rooms: Spotlessly clean, some great views overlooking the mountains and although not the biggest, they are far better than most 2/3 star appats elsewhere. Very comfortable to sleep in.

The Staff: Amazing is the only word to describe them. Through the day, Ozzie and Helen [English] organized the entertainment around the pool and serve drinks etc. Lots of fun to be had with water balloon fights, Killer Pool and the egg race. This is where they are placed under the water in the pool and you are timed to see who can get them all first. The staff jump in with you, if not, the guests throw them in anyway! All good family fun.

Through the night, you have Simon and Rush. Simon is an old timer at the Babadan so needs no introducing to the regulars there. Rush however, is new this year. What a truly funny man he is. Everyone loves Rush. I have sat in the bar with him until the early hours and my jaws were aching with laughter. He is naturally gifted at entertaining the guests and is a real find for these apartments have never met a better barman in my life and I have seen a few.

The Food: A really useful snack bar/cafe which serves breakfasts from about 07.00 am and everything else on the menu until about 9.00pm. The barbeque is good.

The staff are polite, helpful and really friendly.

Location: Superb. Close enough [5 mins] from the busy restaurants and abundance of bars but far enough away to get a great nights sleep. The beach is about 10 mins away.

All in all, a great place to stay, be entertained and to relax. Would highly recommend these apartments to anyone going to Icmeler. I could write for hours about the good things about the Babadan.

The apartments
We were totally suprised by the apartment. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed...but were not expecting the en suite in the main bedroom..or a seperate balcony!. For a family of six, it was just what we needed, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. The apartment was spotless, the cleaners came in every day to wash the floors and tidy the beds, and they changed the sheets every 3 days...and made the towels into all kinds of fancy patterns, it really felt like we were being spoilt.

The apartment complex
The complex was really clean...The staff washed all the pool area down and the walk ways to the apartments every evening. During the day, the staff were always about cleaning the little tables by the sunbeds, We just cannot fault it.

Location
Just perfect. Its inbetween the old town and Icmeler town. If you turn to the right, you can walk for ages into the old town...turn left and it is 2 minutes walk into the hussle of Icmeler town. The beach is only 5 minutes walk away.

Hotel Staff

In the shop and reception there was Elvis...not sure if that was his real name but he is a dead ringer for Ray Liotta. He was really friendly and was really good with the kids. He gave us a turkish flag as a present...just so we could wave it at our local team match.
The staff on during the day were Helen and ozzy. Helen kept everyone entertained by organising spoonsplash, water polo and killer pool. This happened every day...including the dayly throw in the pool of Helen, she is a good sport! Ozzy tended to stay behind the bar...but we threw him in the pool for good measure...and of course he took it well. He was really good with the kids..played games with them etc.
In the evening we were entertained by Sime and Rush. Sime , bless him is only 16, and cannot dance to save his life, but was really friendly, and his niavity was really sweet. Rush on the otherhand was a barman through and through. He kept us entertained (including my daughter who he had behind the bar making cocktails). we spent quite a few of the wee hours (that means 4 0'clock) being entertained by him.

Would we visit this apartment complex again?
oh yes... it was the perfect holiday. We had a fantastic apartment, the staff were excellent and the weather was hot hot hot!!!!!

The hotel was clean. The cleaners was brilliant in there work, so clean. The staff was very pleasant and friendly good with kids.

Hotel was in the heart of everything you needed. Over all it was great.

We thought the staff were really nice especially Ozzy and Archie!

The room were always clean and the entertainment was the best!

The pools were great but cold!!!

Great location, was near good bars.

Would go there again any day!!

Recently returned from the Babadan Apts in Icmeller.
We found the whole complex very clean and well maintained, the staff from maids to bar staff were excellent.

We were very happy with the location of the Babadan, close enough to everything, far enough away for plenty of peace and quiet.

Highly reccomended.

I stayed in the babadan apartments and it was great, the staff were really nice and friendly they would always talk to you, the rooms were cleaned every day and it was to the best cleanliness, i really enjoyed my holiday and i would love to go back again!!!

I go to Turkey a lot. I am going next year and it will be my 3rd time, it is so good I would not go anywhere else.

The staff are amazing especially Archie and Beal and Simon they are great and so friendly.

I think everybody should go to Babadan for their holiday it's so relaxing and clean. I love it.

Been to Babadan five times, going again in May. Met lots of new friends, introduded some friends to Babadan last year and are going with them again this year.

Apartments are spotless cleaned every day, all staff are pleasant and helpfull, entertain is excellent, would recommend it to anyone.
