We had a great holiday staying at Efem Apartments this year.

We found Onur and all the staff to be extremely trustworthy, very friendly and they could not do enough to make our stay an enjoyable one.

The accomodation and location are brilliant. Rooms were cleaned daily. Food and entertainment were excellent.

The pool is one of the largest in Icmeler and was always very clean. Also their were plenty of sunbeds.

Spent a great week staying at the Efem Apartments. The staff are the nicest people you will ever meet (especially Serdal the chef who is now my other and better half!). Am going back in September and who knows this time i may not come back home! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Its not right in the action but everything is only a short walk away

OK so we had a bad start as the manger was asleep when we arrived and then they put us into the wrong room but once that was sorted the room was light and airy and clean. The facilities are very basic but there was everything there that you would need (apart from toilet paper) !!! My only criticism would be that the towels are not changed as often as they could be but apart from that it was fine.

The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble - the manager definitely had a good time with all the young (and not so young) ladies, definitely a heart breaker there, but we loved it and and will be returning again this year. Every time I think of that holiday it makes me smile.

we stayed at the efem apartments for 2 weeks.there is always a rather big group of us,friends and family.the rooms are what you would expect,basic but kept very,very clean.externally the premises are always kept tidy.at night time security is of a very high standard.passports are always kept secure in the safe.seb,ali,silo and not forgetting the very,very wonderful darius,are always there to help and assist.the staff at the efem apartments simply cannot do enough for you.i rate efem as one of the best places to ever stay in turkey.for ultimate friendliness and top standard staff i cannot praise efem enough...well done darius and the rest of you.

Just thought we would place an up to date comment on the Efem. They must have taken note of the previous comments as my wife and I had a really good time here.

The staff and the accommodation is truly A1. Ali is a really nice guy and so is Orch and the boys. The Efem is lovely and totally chilled out place and really nice rooms.

The food is really nice as well..... when eating out you have to go to the champagne bar. I would say its probably the best in Icmeler,and having been 5 times now to this resort the champagne bar is first class.

Kevin and the boys are nice guys and you always have a nice welcome every time.

The Efem apartments were excellent, We have had some good holidays over the years but this place was spot on, The staff couldn't do enough to please, Even in he late hours, Nothing was to hard ford them, The apartment rooms were very clean and was impressed with the space we had,It was not a noisy place and the location was perfect for Getting around,The only thing the apartments could do with is either a toaster or grill, The rooms were cleaned everyday and the cleaners left nice little touches! like flowers on the beds or the towels were folded in certain ways. The pool was spot less and always tempting you in even at night, The food provided if you ate in was top class,i Could go on but you need to got and see for yourselves, Thanks to Seb,Ally,Darius, Mr Chef and Sulu for making us feel welcome. Go Please You Will Not Regret it!!!!

Been three times now. Best apartments in Turkey. If you want a chilled relaxed holiday and not far away from pubs/town then heres your place.

The rooms are basic but very very clean and cleaned daily. Just put dirty towels on the floor anyday and the cleaner will change them.

Grounds kept beautiful and pool area very big and kept lovely and clean.

Staff are very very nice with young and old alike they will run all around Turkey if you ask them to. Nothing to much trouble. They are the best in Turkey. There is a security gaurd on all threw the night. Passports locked in safe. As I had to ask for ours back!

There are safes to hire in everyroom at cheap rate. The food well thats something else its outstanding value better than down town.

BBQ night is a good laugh, it's a must. All the staff work very hard they work 12/17hours aday no wonder they are shattered some of the time. (Some in England don't do that in a week.) Please go and meet Onur (Darius) Seb, Ali playboy 2 (the chef) and the cleaner what a good bunch of people and fun to be with.

You wont regret it.

Our 3rd FANTASTIC stay in such lovely apartments with such lovely people who are prepared to bend over backwards to accomodate your circumstances and make you happy.

Ali and Sebastian the owners are SUPERB hosts who will do anything that they can to help you and ensure that you enjoy your holiday to the full.

They have another apartment complex nearby,but are only minutes away if needed. I can not speak highly enough of these apartments or the staff.

Just got back and decided to do this whilst the washing machine does its stuff ha ha.
Had two fairly good weeks in Icemeler, went to the Efem on the grounds of previous reports from this and other similar sites.
Unfortunatly the owners Ali and Seb have opened the other apartments this year,(The Palm Gardens), and as such are not around at the Efem as much as they would like to be.
The star scores i have given are a general score but this differs when Ali and Seb are around.
The staff are quite nice people on the whole but it just seemed that when the cats were away the mice liked to play, or not as the case may be.

The room cleaning/linen changes were a bit hit and miss
at the best of times and if you wanted a relaxing day by the pool you had to hope one of the big bosses were around, otherwise it was the turkish top 5 at full blast, which gets on your nerves after the 8th or 9th re-run, or the Icemeler fun CD that got a good run out, which is definatly not for children but gets played at various times of the day.

One more moan before i get to the good points, the new bar staff are a great bunch of people BUT, the word no doesnt seem to mean anything no matter what language you say it in, that could be put down to playful nature i suppose, but when your trying to relax the last thing you want, is to be sprayed in water after saying no enough times for a complete muppet to get the point.Especially when your dressed to go out for the night.

Right the good bits.
The apartments are very nice and spacious, ideal for couples and larger groups alike.
The grounds are beautifully kept and the pool is better than anything in the main town, in size and cleanliness, and you will never find yourself without a sun bed, or have to get up at the crack of dawn to put your towels down.

General points.
The pool gets a lot of chlorine added at regular intervals so use the shower by the pool or you will go a dusty white colour and peel and itch ha ha.
We had a top floor studio which was perfect for a couple, and had a double bed, with a great view of the mountains and the surrounding area, so if your just a couple of friends who dont mind sharing a bed they are the best rooms in the complex, otherwise go for an apartment.
The apartments are again very spacious, but consist of two single beds in the main bedroom and two fold down sofa beds in the living area.

Now the scores we gave.
cleanliness only got a 3 because of the hit and miss times it was carried out .
Location got 3 because the ten minute walk takes about half an hour after telling several restaurant owners we just wanted to walk into town,( you'll understand that after a day or two.
Staff, again this score is down to not fully understanding that the brits do like to play but not 24 hours a day.
Entertainment, i cant really give a score for this because we didnt do the turkish night due to other commitments and it wouldnt be fair to comment on what other people had told us without experiencing it ourselves.

I am sorry that this report is quite negative, but i think when the Palm gardens are up and running fully, and Seb comes back full time, this will be one of the best apartments in Icemeler, but at the moment there are a lot of things not being done to make it so, and our views are based on the present.

We enjoyed our time at the Efem, however, we felt that it wasn't a three star hotel but definately a two star. The rooms were described as both luxurious and spacious, they are not. The appartments were very basic, only a two ring cooker and a kettle supplied, fine if you only want tea and soup. We booked a four person appartment and we didn't have enough wardrobe space for two of us! The rooms are cleaned daily but not to a high standard and the bathroom was in fact quite dirty!
