Apartments very basic but clean. Apartment kitchen area in need of better facilities, toaster etc, 2 ring hob not enough. Air con very good but at an extra

We arrived at the Gondol late evening to be greeted by Mustafa and Japon. First impressions with the room as we dropped our case was very bright and clean.
The room had a 2 ring hob, fridge and a kettle, but I didnt use any of these, so I cant comment on the cooking facilities.
The bar area was kept clean and tidy at all times. The pool was quite small, but there was plenty of room for sunbeds.
Our rooms were cleaned daily by Jimmy and Casey, and bed linen and towels were changed every few days.
The Turkish night on Wednesdays was a good night, with good food and entertainment.

We have just returned from 1 week at the Gondol, and are already planning to go back next year for 2 weeks rather than the 1 week.
This was the 2nd time at the Gondol for us, and the 2nd time in Turkey.
The Gondol a great place to get to know people as the staff create such a friendly atmosphere.
The food is very good, we didnt use the cooking facilities. The pool is just big enough and plenty of space for the sunbed area or shaded area if it gets to hot.
The Gondol is ideally situated for the beach, shops, bars and restaurants as they are only 5 mins away.
Most people return to the Gondol as its such a great holiday.

This is the second time that i have visited the Gondol Apartments came here previously Sept 07, I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for making everyone very welcome , nothing is to much trouble for them
The location of the apartments are great as you are in the centre of everything and do not have far to the beach.
A very big thank you to Ollie, Jimmy,Cassie & Mustafa for being pleasant & helpfull

The gondol was basic but very clean. The staff couldnt be friendlier. The hot water shortage was a small issue but it didnt ruin our holiday though with 8 girls it could have been a tradgedy. Even so we would all go back.

the apartments were basic but spotless. the communal areas were also spotless. the breakfast and barbecue were very good value for money. the hotels location deserves 10 out of ten as do the staff. Ollie and Mustafa keep everyone happy. We are definitely coming back, possibly september 08. to everyone at the gondol thanks for a fabulous time xxx

it was my first time to the gondol an what can i say but what lovely people they were!they really couldnt do enough for us all ollie was a star an so was the rest!great location,i.e shops beach an nightlife what more could you ask for. we was that impressed ive booked for 8 girls to go back in may 2008 for my big 40! cant wait.big hello to all the staff in the venice an not forgeting the majestic a class people!

Gondol Apartments is in the ideal location in Icmeler.Central to the beach,resturants,bars,shops and street market.
The apartments are kept very clean by Jimmy and Casey with clean towels/sheets every other day.The pool is small but spolessly clean as is the poolside area.
The poolside bar has the most extensive menu and food is available from early till late.
The best thing about Gondol is the friendly atmosphere created by the staff.Ollie,Mustafa,Ozman,Rizza,and "Top-Chef" are great fun and make sure that there is never a dull moment
There is table football and pool competitions,and the Turkish night is not to be missed.
We will definately go back!

We have visited many places in Turkey and various hotels in Icmeler and found the Gondol apartments to be the best we have stayed in. Friendly staff, excellent location and good food. What more could you ask for. The rooms are basic but clean and got everything you need for the little time you spend in them on holiday.
Looking forward to going back for our holiday in July 08.
