We stayed in three seperate apatments, all of which were of the highest standard, we had both one bedroom and two bedroomed apartments so we was able to compare the difference. Our apartment (one bedroom) was adequate for me, my husband and our two daughters and we had a lovely pool view. The apartment was cleaned daily by a lovely caring lady who use to leave us flowers in a vase on a regular basis. The apartments were well equipped with toaster, microwave and hairdryer so we could not have asked for more.
We never actually used any of the equipment though as we always ate out both at the hotel resteraunt and in icmeler town. The hotel resteraunt had a fair choice of menu and even my daughter who is a very fussy eater found something that she liked on the menu. The staff were very friendly and made us all feel welcome and during our stay became good friends with some of them. Helen kepy our youngest daughter entertained in the children's club daily and we found it difficult to prise her away if we wanted to go out. The location of the hotel was a bit off putting when we first arrived as it was our 3rd time in icmeler so we were aware that we were quite some way from the resort centre but we soon discovered that this wasn't a problem as the dolmus and local taxis stopped outside the main doors and even the hotel's jewler was kind enough to give us a lift one evening. Entertainment was ok but by the end of the 2 weeks we had seen each act 2-3 times, but the entertainment team kept everyone going day and night. As I have said it was our 3rd time in icmeler and this was by far the best hotel we have stayed in and I would have no hesitation in returning there again.

Had three apartments between us all and all were of excellent standard.

Modern, bright and and rooms cleaned every day and the maid even left her own little touches by leaving us flowers in a vase. We had a great view looking out onto the pool.

We ate out in the hotel bar and resteraunt on several occasions which was always of good standard although sometimes we had to wait for a while.

The location of the hotel was at the back of the resort of Icemeler but the dolmus and taxi's both stopped outside the reception and even the Hoye's jeweller was happy to give us a lift into the resort centre.

Hotel staff were very friendly and worked very hard and were good with the kids. Etertainment was ok but was repeated a few times - the kids club and the daytime entertainment was excellent and was great fun even if you were just sat watching.

We have visited Icemeler 3 times and we love it and in three weeks time I will be visiting the Julian Forest again and can't wait!!!!!

Our stay was fantastic! We enjoyed every bit. Although we did spend some time at the hotel next door because it was quieter but it wasn't a patch on this.

When we arrived everything was spotless and very new and stylish.

The staff were so friendly especially some of the pool bar staff.

The location we thought would be a bit of a bother but the dolmus ride into town is perfect and is something different. The scenery is also breathtaking and because it's in the mountains there is a cool breeze to soften the heat.

The entertainment was a bit of a let down but we only saw it one night so who are we to judge!

We had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon!

This hotel is new and has only been opened for 4 weeks. The apartments are very nice and a maid service is in operation, changing sheets and towels.
However, be very careful using these towels as you will be charged 8 million lira for a hand towel and 16 million lira for a bath towel should there be any mark on them, even if the mark can be easily removed by washing. If you stay at these apartments, my advice would be to use your own towels.

The staff and cleanliness were unbeatable! Very modern and well equipped. We found getting local dolmus back to apartment difficult. I wouldn't hesitate about returning to this hotel.

As a family we have no complaints only we were sad when we had to leave. The staff were unbelievable the hotel is beautiful. We felt very welcome and were treated lovely we made friends with the staff and we will never forget any of them.julian forest are very lucky to have people that they have,representing their hotel. We are looking forward to our return,and hopefully see the same staff.

What a fantastic place to spend a holiday the staff are the nicest people we have ever met. The two lads that do the entertaiment are absoutely fab. The bar staff were magic and the manager was very nice and friendly and made us feal at home.

We had the best time ever and my little girl Phoebe who has downs was treated like a princess thankyou so much Julian forest we miss you all and hated saying goodbye im sure we will be back soon anyone wanting a fab holiday dont hesitate get booking.

The Julian Forest is situated in a very secluded area ,surrounded by pine clad mountains ensuring a relaxed peaceful environment.The Managemnt and staff are welcoming, pleasant and exceptionally helpfull.

The entertainment programme is varied,fun and enjoyable. although the evening acts tend to be a little repetative.

Cleanlines is exceptional with a daily maid service.

Food at the Julian Forest is on the whole a high quality,table service is excellent.

Our little boy Jordan was made to feel like a king and sobbed his heart out when it was time to leave. WE loved every minute of our stay , it all ended too soon.

We would highly recommend The Julian Forest to others.

Wow....what a place!

I had booked a 'allocation on arrival'
we were taken to 'Julian appartments' and were pleasantly surprised,i would class this complex as a 4 star.
fantastic time was had by all.

Temperatures was 45-50!!!(end of june)
met lots of people from the uk and played with 'phobe' she was a lovely girl with a uk family.

The 'hotel/apartments' are brilliant and we would recommend this place to stay to anyone.

The pool was very clean and well kept.
a childrens pool is also available with two fantasic slides,what a good time we had!


Had trouble with one staff member who was rude to my daughter, but was sorted by management.
Overall the staff was very friendly especially to the women(seems the thing with turkish men).

The entertainment laid on is various and very good.

'Bracelet system' that you put credit/money on and is easily used up.
The marketshop in the apartments is very limited but it's early days as the complex has only been open for about three weeks.
Next door to Julian forest is also a new complex open 1 week exactly the same building type.

There is a very good local store just down the road about ten min walk.
We had trouble getting a dolmus to the local town of ichlemer as the complex is located at the end of there 'round' and they were reluctant to go all the way there.

I'm sure this will change in time to come.
always taxi's available at a standard rate of 7 mill.

Ichlemer town is buzzing and i couldn't see the point in going into Marmaris which was only an extra 5 mins away.
went to Marmaris one day and was too busy for us.

Unfortunatly talk was going around that we were used as 'guinie pigs' for the resort to see the opinions and views of us and they would amend there pricing policy accordingly..

I DO HOPE that they wil be sensible and keep there room rates down as anyone and everyone should stay here if they can afford it.

We found the Julian Forest Apartments to be excellent, it is set at the bottom of mountains past the old village of Icmeler. The rooms were spacious and were cleaned every day with linen change. The staff were lovely, really friendly(maybe our 3 17/18/19 year old girls had something to do with that) but they were helpful and had a word for everybody despite having to work an average of 16/17 hours a day. Musti 1 and Musti 2 from the Animation entertainment team were great from Killer Pool to Water Polo, Turkish Night to Karoke. The drinks in the bar were expensive(bracelet system used to pay) compared to the village bars and restaurants, and with the exception of the Bar-B-Q night the restaurant food was average. The Julian Forest was the best apartments that we have stayed in( 3rd time to Turkey). It is situated a short distance from the resort but it can be reached by Dolmus bus or taxi that can be got at the front of the apartments. All in all we had a lovely stay here and met great people especially Phobe & Jordan and all the staff. Will definitely go back.
