At reception was told no rooms must go to other hotel down the road we said we will not and met another couple in the same boat we stood our ground and we got a room at 1 pm about time.
Room very poor holes in sheets dirty pillows yellow in colour shower head didnt work had to dance round shower to get soap of not very hot pool of water on floor with tiled floor had to keep towel on floor so we did not slip food very poor dirty staff clothes had to ask for sheets to be changed.
It says it is 3 star but on website it is 2 star it was for one week and the price was with transfers 800 pounds lt was for us the holiday from hell

I stayed at the Portofino Hotel with 3 of my friends for relaxing holiday. Over all the holiday was gr8, apart from 1 the THE HOLTEL!!! We were greeted by a not so welcoming receptionist who gave us our keys (without a smile) and lead us to our room. The rooms on the whole were ok, clean, basic ok size. We were on the top floor with an ok view. The 1st night we went in to our room, sweety from the coach trip (3 1/2 hours from dalaman) all we wanted was a shower, unfortunatly the showers we not working due to a water shortage (which we had to ask about). So not a great start to the holiday but we thought hey, never mind these things hapen. We then went down for a nice cold beer and a bite to eat. The bar had 1 beer on draft, vodka, white/red wine.... yeh thats it!! The food was ok but salad and potatoes do get abit boring every single night. There was 1 member of staff that was great (salli) and the rest dont think understood a word we said. 1 night after a few i met this girl and went back to her room to chat and sleep, nothing else, when we had a knock on the door we was confronted by a member of staff who was saying we were not aloud in other peoples rooms... we tried to explain that we were just talking but he was having none of it and rang for the manager. He was no help what so ever and just said 'not possible' and advised tht he was calling the police!!!!!! haha what a muppet. Any way i went bck to my room and slept. the next morning, it seemed all the staff there, bar salli, were giving me evils and when i asked for a drink, the guy in question slammed by drink down. (it wasnt me just being paranoid) As the holiday bore on things settled down and we had a great few days on the boat trips, quad safari, massage, jet skies etc. On our last day we had a henna tat on our backs, which granted a few specks did go on the sheets. We were waiting in reception for our coach to pick us up when the maids screamed down stairs and came running with our sheets/towels. We were 'MADE' to pay 60 lirea for the specks (and a towel that hadnt been taken away by the maids for 3-4 days which was abit dirty due to the quad safari) the receptionist (who we called happy) would not let us get on the coach untill we paid, what a great end to the holiday thats all i can say! Please if your under 30 DO NOT GO YOU WILL NOT ENJOY THE HOTEL!!!! Thanks for reading!!

As the holiday progressed we found that assumption to be a joke. The bed linen was only changed once in our 14 day stay and that was after we complained.
The food was terrible and mostly served cold, sometimes left overs from the meal before. Although it was all inclusive meals were at set times and snacks available only between 4 and 5 and by the time they were served it was time for dinner. The only entertainment was a pool table that you had to pay to play.
The pool was filthy and was closed for at least three days of our stay, when it opened there was too much chlorine in the water so much so that it turned our daughters hair to green, stained our swim wear and discoloured our skin and some silver ear rings.When we complained to our rep he told us we would not be moved, there would be no changes and even though it was an all inclusive the hotel was didn't have to supply anything, not even toilet rolls.
Seeing as how I was taken ill with sickness and diahorrea twice during our stay we thought that was inhumane and a joke.
We would never go back there even if we were paid to and we would urge anyone else to avoid that hotel like the plague.

On first impressions we were quite pleased with it but that soon changed as our holiday continued. The towels or beds where never changed and the food never varied. there was no entertainment at all.
My friend became very ill and had a bad accident evan then the sheets were not changed. They also serve tap water.
