This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
The staff couldn't do enough for you. The pool attendants would lay your towel out on your chosen sunlounger by the pool or on the private beach.
Everything about this place is amazing.

What a paradise. Went to The Palace on a second honeymoon for 20th Wedding Anniversary. Everything about this hotel was superb.
Staff were all eager to please, nothing was too much trouble.
Pool area was well laid out with umbrellas to every 2 sunbeds, hotel towels were put out by a member of staff on sunbeds and glasses of water were constantly topped up.
Food was first class. Celebrities restaurant is a must especially for an occasion. On mentioning that it was our wedding anniversary half way through our meal, we were surprised & delighted when with our coffee a small chocolate desert was brought out with happy 20th anniversary decorated on it & the singer came over singing Congratulations. That's what I call service.
All the rooms face the beach & because it has its own private beach it is totally unaffected by the building work currently going on around the beach area.
The desert Safari is a must, bouncing over the dunes in a 4x4 & a BBQ at a desert camp.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone with an eye for luxury. Already saving to go back for our Silver Wedding.

We were upgraded to complimentary to a Half Board basis which gives you a different menu to the a la carte, or you can have credit towards the a la carte menu if you prefer, but there was no need. The food on the Half Board Menu was the same as the a la carte, and all food in all restaurants was exceptional. All restaurants, rooms and all other areas of the hotel for that matter were sparkling and clean at all times.
The location of the hotel is fabulous, and although there is a lot of building going on around, you don't hear or see any of it, as most that is being done is far enough away from the hotel. This will not change as all the buildings around/outside the hotel are brand new and completed - there is nowhere else nearby to build, so no danger of high rises, or new projects being started. Staff could not do enough for you - nothing was too much trouble.
There was loads to do if you wanted to - but all activities were away from main areas, so those who did not want to join in could still relax. I would definitely go back again.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I cannot praise highly enough this hotel. The rooms are magnificent and although we only booked B&B we were upgraded to Half board on arrival. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive but not in any way overbearing.
It was extremely hot & humid when we went so we found the beach much more bearable (there was a slight breeze) than the pool. We were given regular drinks of cold water, cold towels to cool down etc. There is building work which you can see from the beach and the balconies of the rooms but this in no way detracted from the holiday.
We visited most of the restaurants in the hotel and all were brilliant, the standard of the food and service were second to none.
The only thing I can say is if you get the chance GO you will not regret it.

we have been to Dubai 6 times in two years we love the country, the people, and it is very safe and clean. we stayed at the Royal Mirage on honeymoon and it was fabulous, but when we went back in 2004 it was not as well run, holes in the sheets, food not as good. Very unruly children being allowed to disrupt resteraunts into the early hours. We asked for tours and no-one came back to us, the floor staff were polite and helpfull but we passed on our comments to the manager who never even came back to us.
I was very dissapointed ! All I can say is that the pool is beautiful, nothing else. Previously we have stayed at the Royal Meridien which is fabulous much cheaper and I would definately go back there, not the Mirage, the attitude of the manager at the Meridien is exceptional.
I can not recommend the Mirage spend less and get a better service at the Royal Meridien.

All I can say about this hotel is that I found it to be as close to paradise as I have ever been. I went as part of a family holiday, there were 12 of us, quite a lively bunch aged 3 to 83.
The resort is huge and in immaculate condition, nothing less than spectacular to view. There are several restaurants to eat at within the resort, all of which served fantastic cuisine, however be sure to book a table in advance as they can get full pretty quickly.
The staff are absolute angels, always keen to greet and assist guests, they really made us feel like royalty.
The location also was outstanding, situated right on the very beautiful Jumeira beach with a view of the port and the Palm Island project. Taxi's are available to take guests out of the resort, I visited the gold markets and also a shopping village, both of which were reasonably short journeys.
Our days consisted of sun lounging, sipping cocktails on the beach and the odd massage, turkish bath or desert safari. Most nights we would go for food at a restaurant within the resort, followed by a shisha at the courtyard (strange smoking device, fruity flavoured, must be done!)and then off to the hotel nightclub Kasbar, which can be a lot of fun. We also visited a couple of other bars and nightclubs out of the resort (through staff recomendations) and in general experienced some brilliant nights.
The whole family thoroughly enjoyed this piece of paradise, it was an amazing holiday that will never be forgotten. I could go on all day about the quality and superiority of this hotel for people that desire a relaxing and luxorious break but I feel it is better to just say... Go!
