Excellent hotel. We stayed in deluxe seaview rooms - large, clean and very comfortable. The heavenly beds were so comfortable.
The food was fabulous - what a choice. Beware the drinks are expensive. We went to the mall by complimentary shuttle bus and stocked up on drinks for a fraction of the price.
Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Hotel and grounds very clean an well kept.

beautiful surroundings right on the beach lovely breakfast everything imaginable price of drinks very expensive. room was superb sea view ,worth paying extra for

We have just returned from this fantastic hotel.
It was the best holiday we have had from the hotel to the area it is it is fab.
The staff are great the rooms are the best we have ever stayed in bath robes and slippers (wish I was back the beds are so good, its hard to get up from them) and as for the food its to die for.
The beach has white sand the pool goes all along the hotel it the place to stay it really is, we will be going next year fantastic 5* but very posh.
PS you must go with Emirates its the best way they are fantastic and look after you all the way. Its well worth paying the extra.

The Westin is brand new in a fantastic position, impressive and very clean. I get the impression it is well thought of as all the taxi drivers and locals we met on excursions seemed to be quite impressed we were staying there. Our room was amazing, we had upgraded to a Deluxe sea view, with a double level balcony with seating area and double sun bed.
The staff were very polite but seemed to be untrained. Drinks took a whole meals duration to arrive and they understand little of what was requested. The hotel removed our sentimental teddy bears with the washing and said they could not return them. They also removed our towels which we had bought with us, also not returned. The food was very good. Entertainment was a live band in one of the bars most nights, also very good. We would visit again, probably next year when the opening problems have been resolved
