We stayed at Rotana Towers twice in November while flying to/from Australia via Dubai. We had booked two separate rooms but we were upgraded to a 4 bedroom apartment. The bedrooms were great with good en-suite bathrooms. The lounge area was huge but the furniture was getting a bit worn.
Great buffet breakfast and good meal in Longs Bar. The swimming pool and gym is on top of the hotel's multi-storey car park behind the hotel.
The hotel is right next to a metro station so very easy to get around Dubai although taxis are cheap. Just 5 minutes to Dubai mall.

We stayed at this hotel for our silver wedding anniversary,the room was spacious and clean the staff were always helpful,breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice they even gave us a lovely cake for our anniversary.
The location of this hotel is in the business part of the city,and we just got taxi's everywhere, with all the building work going on down the beach front I think we made the right choice.
Longs bar attached to this hotel has a good atmosphere.
