We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and unlike other comments we were in the main part of the hotel. We found the location great close to Pier 39, the cable cars, buses and bars & resataurants. There were a number of vagrants who would sleep nearby on the grass area, we were never bothered by them. We did hear the street cleaning but didn't make too much impact. Would definately go again

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in May, we had been told beforehand that the English get put into the annexe part of this hotel, which we did but have to say we found it decent enough.
You check in in the main hotel then you have to walk 5 mins to the annexe part which is just round the corner and across a road. But it was all that one could ask for, you are right on Fisherman's Wharf.
You are 3 mins away from Pier 39. Everything is so close.
Food was self catering but you have a Denny's in your hotel which came in handy.
We saw no entertainment at the hotel so can't comment on that one.
All in all it was a fine place to stay.
