Don't even consider renting a property through iTripvacations (and I found mine through Flipkey, linked to Trip Advisor so beware) in particular in the Florida area. We recently spent two weeks in 102 Pier House in Indian Rocks Beach. Whilst the property was OK - we did have some problems with it which weren't particularly addressed by the agents during our stay - our main problem was that we weren't told beforehand that the property was up for sale whilst we were there, and we had no less than SIX visits during our first week either from a service engineer or the Realtor and lastly a walk through by prospective purchasers, when the Realtor suggested we might like to make our beds and tidy up a little. We WERE on holiday!
We arranged to go out during some of these visits and on one occasion the engineer was still working when we returned mid afternoon. On return from our holiday (as nothing was sorted while we were there) I sent an email to the agents listing our complaints and asked, quite reasonably I thought, for a refund. They didn't even take the time to respond. I had to badger them for a response, going through the CEO of the company on LinkedIn. He didn't respond to my email either but must have prompted the local agent as I eventually got a very childish, angry response which simply said there was no way they would consider a refund. What a totally unprofessional attitude and I can honestly say I have never been treated in this way by an American company before. Take care when booking as the agents working for iTrip list themselves by name as the manager. It is only when you send a request to book the property it then comes up as iTrip vacations.
Don't touch them with a barge pole !!
